Why does the title of this article say "alleged" abuse? To be "alleged" means to be claimed without proof.

maybe and i could only hope that this happens to the people involved and maybe the will root in hell. how can someone do this to an animal? they are a piece of shit. hell is to good for all of them!

go to ushs.org and you can see it all. wait for the commercials then just watch if you can. it was on nightline, it is so very real!!!! sorry piece of human to even be able to breathe. maybe we should hit him in the nose with a bat and use a hotstick up their ass. they will get out of it like they have before. animals can't speak so we have to do it for them. beating a horse when you have put hot sauce on his feet and he can't stand, wth, could you stand? you are scum of the earth.

You realize that of the HSUS is mostly lip service, right? And that their ultimate agenda is similar to that of PETA's: To ban ownership of animals and the consumption of meat. How many animals have they actually helped over the years? They've made a lot of videos and done a lot of whistle blowing but that's about it. They always leave the "helping" to somebody else. I'm also willing to bet that somebody is making a lot of money off of exposing the Walking Horse Industry (though to be honest, you can't expose something that was already public knowledge to begin with).

Doesn't it seem strange that the Walking horse industry is really the only industry that constantly has a light shone on it by these organizations? I'm still waiting on the ~*~*~shocking~*~*~ nationally broadcast investigations into the wonderful world of park Saddlebreds. I've seen things done to them that would scare the holy bejeezus out of any horse, but you'll be hard pressed to find anybody who is involved with them willing to admit that some crazy crap goes on, and even harder pressed to find somebody willing to cover it. Let's not forget who the Walking Horse people were trying to imitate, or the fact that these two breeds once shown together and trained by the same people until the Saddlebred folks turned a cold shoulder after the TWHBEA refused to join them in their fight against government inspections promised to them by the HPA. Before they got themselves exempted, Saddlebreds were inspected at any show that also had TWH classes (the reason the ASHA dropped Walkers, btw) and people were written up.

That's not what they said. People are rallying behind a group that takes bribes for good press. They said Michael Vick (you know, the piece of shit who was busted for dog fighting) would make a good pet owner after the Eagles cut them a $50,000 check. They did this investigation in a manor that attacks the entire Walking Horse industry, not just the abuse being committed by individuals. They don't want to fix the TWHBEA's problems, they want the TWHBEA to be shut down, and then after that they'll move on to another association.

If the HSUS cares about animals then why did they wait an entire f*cking year to tell anybody about this crap going on at Jackie's barn? If I saw that stuff going on before my eyes I would have left with my video, contacted the police, and had the lunatic arrested right then and there. They don't care about the animals. They care about destroying this industry. If I were a trainer, I would be livid with the way in which their investigation essentially labeled everybody as being guilty of torturing their horses.

Get the horses out of there, throw Jackie and his like-minded butt buddies in prison, and screw the HSUS.

It's gross. They hurt animals and the whole event is ugly anyway. The horses are jugg headed, the gait is just goofy looking, the outfits are outdated and look like country insurance salesmen. Some traditions need to die because they were wrong in the first place

It seems the media has become bored with Trayvon Martin and is now sensationalizing the mistreatment of horses, in order to sell papers and air time to sponsors.

The high gate horse has been around for decades. Techniques have been small chains, to cuffs, to irritants, to heavy shoeing on front hooves in order to get the horse to perform. Note I said perform!

So what happens now? Put the lion tamer in jail for beating tigers and lions? Shut down the animal pound and release the kitties and pups? Jail the elephant handler for chaining up the elephant and making them go psychotic?

Looks like a Bunch of wealthy people, who get talked into "investing" in a walking horse, trained by slick "connected" bumpkins, just lost their asses! The value of all animals just plunged along with Shelbyville future sales tax and tourism dollas. Imagine a fancy pants city couple wanting to display their walking horse ribbons on there mantle for high class friends to see? Pee You!
