Reporting from Washington - Al Franken, the funnyman who wrote the best-seller "Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot," was sworn in as the junior senator from Minnesota on Tuesday, without doing one single funny thing.

Did Senator Franken tell his staff he was hiking the Appalachian Trail and instead travel to Argentina to meet with his mistress while simultaneously preaching the importance of Family Values and Fidelity? Or did he sleep with a campaign staffer, who is the wife of his friend? Or did he abort his term as Governor? |

The people of Minnesota are just proving themselves to be a bunch of bumbling idiot voters. They actually elected this baboon to the US SENATE!!! Just unbelievable. I've heard his radio show and read some of his book.
I hope next time they elect Ronald McDonald. If they keep this up, they might overshadow Illinois for political embarassment. It will be tough, but they are on their way.
