Mexico's "drug war" (which isn't really a war at all because the citizenry cannot fight back due to the fact that they are unarmed) is entirely Mexico's problem, caused by corrupt leadership within Mexico.

If all of the headless corpses found on the streets and backroads of Mexico had been armed, there would be far fewer headless corpses on the streets and backroads of Mexico.
