Pat Robertson - by a long long stretch.
Interesting how roboblogger picks up these stories giving people like this profile they do not deserve.

I think that requires some thought. Maybe a poll.

Actually, while Robertson certainly can be crazy sometimes, he's not that crazy here. In fact, he's telling the truth.

On his 700 Club TV show yesterday, Pat Robertson claimed that Islam is “not a religion,” but “a violent political system bent on the overthrow of the governments of the world and world domination”:

ROBERTSON: That is the ultimate aim. And they talk about infidels and all this, but the truth is that’s what the game is. So you are dealing with not a religion. You’re dealing with a political system.

He's right. Islam is every bit as much political as it is religious, and I'd say even more so. Ask a Muslim whether Islam should and ultimately will rule the world, and they will first tell you that Islam does not demand that everybody be Muslims. That's the first tap dance around or diversion from the real question.

Then, you acknowledge that Islam does not demand that everybody be a Muslim and remind them that the question asked about Islam ruling over everyone, not everyone being a Muslim. And this is where they finally have to explain. They explain that Islam is a "complete way of life" and therefore is indeed strongly political, and not just religious or spiritual. Contrast this with "give to Caesar what is his and give to God what is his", where clearly matters of the soul were separated from matters of power, politics...etc

Islam is indeed a political movement. It's ultimate goal of domination is indeed hard coded into the very fabric of the religion and Islam should indeed be treated as a political system because this is precisely the way it behaves.

Personally, I can't stand Pat R. BUT at least he didn't call for the killing of muslims!

Unlike the imman who counseled the army terrorist...and the 9-11 ones, too!

The question is, is it in their scriptures. In Islam, it is woven into the very fabric of the religion, so they have absolutely no choice but to be political. This is a difference that cannot be denied.

Do not allow Moderate Muslims to deceive you. Every E-X Muslim will tell you they secretly rejoiced when they heard news like Fort Hood, even though they would pretend to care.

That's true. But don't forget, the radical Muslims have the courage and integrity to speak the truth when they say the Quran tells them to act the way they do. It really only seems to be the moderates who lie. Bin Laden, for example, will tell you what he's going to do and why, and he'll outright admit it. Khalid Muhammad recently admitted with glee and boasted in a court of law about him being the mastermind of 911 and said straight out why he did it. Thses people are n=being good, honest Muslims. Islam must rule, even if it takes violence, and that is stright out of the Quran. Muslims always rtry to shift the point when you ask them about this directly. Ask them if Islam seeks to rule the world, and thgey will sidestep the question and say that Islam does not require all people to be Muslim. But what they won't tell you is that Islam does INDEED require that all people be ruled by Islam, whether they are Muslims or not.

This is what these liars never tell you, and everytime I mention this, I get silence from these liars because they know I'm 100% correct, but they don't want non Muslims to know this....at least not yet.

So let's go Muslim liars. Can' even one single one of you refute this?

Yo, Pat,

Why Islam is not a religion?

Coz it showed you and your likes as who you truly are = Manicheans disguised as Christians = NOT Monotheists -

For when you and your ilk equate Jesus with the One God of Abraham you end up positing TWO GODS - One is GOOD = your Sweet_Jeezus_God - the other is the Evil God = your Satan whom you and your ilk are so fond of talking about -

In short, what does not look like your Jeezus_God you deem it to be of the Devil - be it Muslim or Buddhist, etc.-

Go figure ~

For those interested in Christian Monotheism as opposed to Pat's and his likes Christotheism, here is a MUST READ book:

But of course - to the WORSHIPERS of Jeezus_God ~ the Manicheans disguised as Christians, that is ~

Here - Read and dispell the darkness of IGNORANCE ~

" When we turn from the question about Monotheistic faith in relation to religion as piety to the question about the relation of that faith to the "organized religions" in the West -- Judaism and Christianity -- two observations force themselves upon us:

first, the struggle for monotheism has been continuous in the history of these societies and is at present being carried on in them;

secondly, though we call Judaism and Christianity "religions" they are not only concerned with religion as personal or communal piety but seem to be efforts at the incarnation of monotheistic faith in total life.

These two facts seem interrelated but we must attempt to construct the whole picture by attending to each one in turn.

Those of us who call ourselves Christians have been prone to see the mote of particularism in our Israelite brother's eye while disregarding the plank in our own.

The God worshiped by Israel, we note, was almost always somewhat an Israelite god.

Israel, we tend to say, thinking of itself as a chosen nation, meant when it spoke of its election that it had been especially favored by a deity who was more the Holy One of Israel than the Lord of heaven and earth.

Hence it tended to believe that it had been endowed with special privileges more than charged with special responsibilities.

So it thought of itself as the holy nation in such fashion that there was no access to God except through membership in its community.

While it is strange that Christians should charge Jews with this error as though it were peculiarly Jewish, it does seem clear from any study of the Hebrew Scriptures that the history of Israel is marked by an almost continuous struggle between social monotheism [i.e. Organized Dogma} and radical monotheism [i.e. Monotheism as such]."

He said it was a political movement, rather than a religion. Are you saying Islam is not political? Isn't Islam more political than it is spiritual? Think about it. what is spiritual and deep about the Quran?
