I agree - These ceo's salaries are not that high! It is the bonuses that they get that is crazy! When a company loses money every year, why should a ceo get a bonus???

I want to know if the CEOs are willing to forego their obscene bonuses. That would go a long way to bailing them out. And, I'd like to know WHY, if they are in such big financial trouble, any of them have deserved such huge bonus incentives. If they are in that kind of financial trouble, then the CEOs haven't been doing a very good job, have they?
Heck just fire them.

Are you crazy??? If they got fired, their severance pay would use up all the bail-out money they are getting!!

<quoted text>What dealerships in the Tulsa area did you work for? My husband works VERY hard 6 days a week from 8:30 am - 8pm. He manages over 100 employees and is NEVER in his office. He helps sell cars, manage deals, finance deals, manage sales people, and makes customers happy without ripping them off. Ford is NOT asking for a hand out, they are simply asking for a loan. A 9 billion dollar loan if they need it. And I am his wife, and I have never ever received a paycheck. My family has been in the car business since 1939. How about if we start charging Honda and Toyota a tarriff for bringing and selling their cars in the USA?
honda and toyota dont bring there cars into this country they build them here.

If the company stood to lose $1.5B but instead only lost $1.25B, that would be considered a good thing and thus they are rewarded for such. The logic is just totally backward.

And of course that was their fault. The car companies always turn down car loans because they want to keep their cars. Maybe you have one of the morgages you don't pay as well.

Do you realize how many tax breaks these states have given to these foreign companies to be able to build their cars in America? There is so much of an incentive for the foreign auto makers including Mercedes to build in the USA. The reason is... they are giving huge tax incentives and profit guarantees to foreign auto makers. This only hurts the US companies trying to survive. How many foreign auto makers contributed to helping our country after 9/11? None. And the big 3 all contributed millions in the relief effort. Who is American?

maybe if they donated one of their cars to the victim of that car jacking back in June; This poor woman has no vehicle and her daughter was raped, maybe god would bless them in return. Just a thought? Their is a fund set up at the Harvest Bank for the Tulsa Angel.

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Cancer

You may not be privy to every little thing that's going on around you, but so what? Crabs can't always be in control, but you don't need to feel insecure, either. Thanks to your electronic devices, you appear to be a little godlike to those who don't have the same access as you do at the moment. Just make sure that you memorise the important stuff in case the system goes down.
