What the heck do the parents of the young black kids teach their kids now days? Must be to sell drugs, rob people instead of work for what you want and to kill people for getting in their way from having what they want. I know it's not all blacks but either way teach your kids better and you won't be visiting them in jail for the rest of your lives.

As I read the story, it looks like the two suspects were out in public driving a stolen car. Since when do the police need a search warrant to recover a stolen vehicle and arrest the people driving in it? Rosco, re-read the story and re-think your post. If these two are indeed the ones breaking into homes and disturbing innocent victims, they deserve all the trouble they get from the law and court system. Good job TPD.

It only happened to be African-American young people in this instance. If you scour the news archives from the past year you will find there has been an equal representation of all races in these types of crimes. The young people have come from all backgrounds as well. It simply comes down to the accessibility and acceptance of drugs in this generation. They will rob, pillage, assault, and plunder or worse for drug money or to procure items to sell for drug money.

Oh man, I was hoping some fed up homeowner would bust a cap in them next time the broke down someone's door. Now the taxpayers are going to have to pay for taking care of their sorry behinds.

I don't care what race or background you are - stealing from someone is just wrong. The police and the media are partly responsible for this because they tell us not to resist, just give the criminals what they want. They know they can break into our homes, cars, and businesses and walk out alive. If they get caught it is 3 hots and a cot while they learn how to perfect their crimes in jail.

If people start fighting back and taking charge of their lives instead of being helpless victims these morons might change their minds. They do things like this because it is low risk. Let's turn up the heat and make it very risky for them. A punk tried to hold me up at a shopping mall a couple years ago and I refused to go along. I told him that he might get what he wanted and I might end up dead or injured, but no punk was going to take from me without a fight, and I intended to make him pay dearly for anything he took from me. He left for an easier target.

Now that TPD has a couple of "suspects" will any of the victims ID them? Hope so. Too bad they are juveniles. Not much will happen to them, a hefty fine that a parent will have to pay, useless counceling and maybe a little community service. Probably not much more even if they are tried as adults. They should be grateful they got caught, they could just as easily be dead.
