E85 is a joke. The idea of energy independence is great. The idea of converting several bushels of corn into auto fuel while people - human beings - around the world, AND in this country......are starving is morally reprehensible. Not to mention that 1gal of E85 has only about 2/3 the potential energy of regular gasoline, the mileage is horrific. Don't believe me? Go to fueleconomy.gov and look at the vehicles like the flex fuel 2009 Tahoe. It's rated at 14/20 on gasoline.....and a pathetic 10/14 on E85. Ethanol fuels are a wonderful invention of the corn lobbyists. And we, as the consumer, get screwed. Do yourself a favor and look for stations that sell gasoline, NOT the 10% ethanol diluted fuel that QT and K&G now sell. Your car, your wallet, and perhaps starving children in a third world country will thank you!

This station in Glenpool is the joke. They place the E85 in such small letters people stop to think they were getting a good deal, when the gas was higher than E85. They assume people will go ahead and buy their much higher priced gas. I did because I was almost out, but I saw many people get ired they left tread leaving this place.
My 2 cents

thats the whole idea behind putting the alcohol in gas [cut fuel millage]use more gas..and mix in vast amounts of water,,sell less oil more water,,bush had to protect dads oil price during hard times,,by the way,my flat bed truck makes 6 gallon per mile less millage on new gas..my 76 ford pk.with large block V,,don't know the difference,it burns the gas the same.so older big block motors got enough power to overcome power loss,of alcohol,,but newer vehicles take a real serious millage and power cut.

if millage gets to bad,,install a fuel water separator, like a diesel truck uses[semi truck]you can filter out several quarts of water from each tank full of fuel,,incresse power and gain more mile per gallon,,but that water you are draining out, came from the gas,so you wont save money,,but will get your power back..last trip i made in my truck,200 mile.i drained about half gallon water out of fuel..i seen a real big change in power

You save a lot of money on the gas that has water in it because the internal combustion engine won't run with water in it.

alcohol is mostly water,,like gas treatment, small bottle treats water in gas by mixing water and alcohol which can pass into engine,,every see the steam coming from ex.pipe on todays cars..a car burning pure gasoline never has steam coming from ex.pipe.race cars for years have injected water into engine to cool fuel charge,,and when you consider water is one half hydrogen i bet some will burn in the process

I'm not into using our food for gas; We need it for the world food banks.
The damn cost of my cornbread has gone up by 40 cents a pan.
I can't even make it everyday like I used too.
