1 I agree...they will probably have to close in a short timeframe as well and it will be due to the deadbeat homies who want to rob them blind. Sad. |

1 I live out in that area and that is so true. There are some good people that live out there and they have to suffer because the bad people out there have to steal and engage in other criminal activity. |

I wish they would do something w/ teh Albertsons on 21st and Memorial. That was always busy. Theres been a grocery store there for 20 years and now it's all about walmart. There are soo many apts that really depended on that store.

1 They closed it because Albertson's sold out, and no one wanted that store due to the high shoplifting rate. Start a neighborhood campaign to ask your young men to stop stealing stuff and shooting each other, and stores will move in. |

1 You are sorely mistaken. ALL crime is reported. I have lived on the N Side, and I heard gunshots all the time. I live South now, and the only problems we have are around the 61st and Peoria area, where they moved people from N Tulsa many years ago. It's not the side of town...it's the demographics of the population. |

1 Ask the people who have tried to own and operate stores in North Tulsa in the past. They had to close because of theft, false insurance (fake slip and falls) claims that made the cost of doing business too high, competition with the Wal-Marts, etc. I wish them luck but I have to wonder what magic these "investors" possess that the previous stores didn't have.... |

Considering the success rate of grocery stores in North Tulsa, wonder who the investors are. |
