Breaks my heart! Every year right here in Green Country, my fellow citizens are killed while doing nothing other then riding their bike down the street. Simply because people DONT pay attention. As a weekend rider we make every attempt to stay out of the blind spot. We make every attempt to watch for speeding motorists especially the young ones with less experience. And still people cut us off, or ride up on us too close. Even at stop lights people will pull in behind so close I can feel the heat from their car. If/When they get rear ended they will be forced right into the bike in front of them.
Oklahoma has been called by many one of the least bike friendly states. I absolutely agree with that. PLEASE pay attention. This man was the closest thing I know to a true American Patriot! This country indeed has lost a good man. |
