haha I hope not. That would suck!:):):)

But seriously...I'm confused as to why I don't have it yet. I don't really NEED it, but I really WANT it :)

Let me guess... You're one of these government assistance dependent people that pay just enough taxes so that you max out your earned income credit every year? My wife does taxes and it kills me every year to hear people that pay in less than $1000 getting a "refund" of $5000... How the hell does that calculate? I'll tell you how, by taking a huge percentage of the taxes that hard working Americans pay in and sharing with the "poor" (read poor as lazy). I paid in over $10,000 in taxes last year and still had to pay another $727 federal. Now YOU think it is not right that I should get back the full $600 and you, that probably got back more than you paid in the first place, don't get the full amount? Get off your lazy arses, go to work, pay taxes, then maybe you can get back what is rightfully yours instead of dipping your greedy little hands in the pockets of the people that work for a living.
Who would be there to give your hamburgers at the drive through if everyone was as well off financially as you? You think fast food workers make enough money to pay $10,000 in taxes? They're lucky if that make that or over in 1 year! Not everybody that is poor are "lazy" not working for living people. It's called an earned income tax credit, usually people with kids making less then 38,000 a year get that. Think about that next time you tip your waitress for serving YOU food at 2 bucks an hour!

I should have gotten mine on the 2nd, direct deposit but I didn't. My taxes were direct deposited into my account but no stimulus. So I went the IRS website and there is a link to where's my stimulus payment? and surprise surprise, my money is being sent in a paper check. So for those who didn't get their's and should have I would check there and see if it is getting mailed out.

I just found out that if you filed your taxes online and had them deduct your fees from your refund, or got a refund anticipation loan, you will get a paper check rather that direct deposit. So, for all of you that have been waiting like I have, you may have to wait a little bit longer.

Filed online with turbo tax with direct deposit, my rebate was in my bank account today. Now I can spend it on gasoline, natural gas, electricity and water.

did you have turbo tax take your fees out of your refund or pay them up front?

I paid the fees up front, glad I did now. Still mad about not getting anything for my 18 year old. Its not like he quit costing me money when he turned 18, just the cost of graduation (cap, gown, senior pics, and so on) is a financial burden but proud of his accomplishments so I won't complain to much. The extra 300 for him would have come in handy though.

doesnt it just suck that when a kid turns 18 the parents have to loose those tax dollars? just the cost of graduation (cap, gown, senior pics, and so on) is a financial burden that most good parent are proud to pay as part of their parental responcibility. Why is he still home at 18 causeing you so much grief. Maybe he should join the service and go do something for his country or getting a JOB instead of staying home like a little bum sucking momma's pocket book dry. If your mad over something like not getting $300 of our money just because he turned 18. maybe you need to get some anger management class to help you with your mental disability. Shame on you!!!

That umm was kind of rude. Graduation season is right now. So you want him to move out before the ink was dry on his diploma? I think she was just saying it would of been nice to have the extra money!

I think maybe you need some anger management classes. She did say she was proud of him and is paying for the items so he can have his day. She just was commenting that it would be nice to have the extra for him. WOW, talk about jumping down someone's throat for nothing...

Because i use nothing but cash. I dont deal with any banks no plastic, never ask for credit. I never ask how much does it cost, because if i have to ask that. then i either dont need it or cant afford it. strickly cash. No checks. I am retired. I dont work. Ive been retired since 1985. no income, no tax. the only tax i pay is my yearly property tax and with the grand fathered homestead act, that is about $3.75 a year. Perfectly legal.

That was very rude of you to post!! My complaint is with the federal government giving the impression that at 18 he doesn't qualify as a dependent when in fact he is still in high school and by next fall will be in college. He is my son, not just a dependent to be used for income tax purposes. Next time you talk about someone with a mental disability try looking in the mirror. What a loser..........
