Family Shooting victim wasnt violent

There was never a more true and honest person than Timmy.
He never and I mean never abused a person in his life. Timmy always looked for the best in everyone (evidently even SUSAN PRYOR) and gave people the benefit of doubt. That is what made Timmy the kind and gentle soul that will be remembered and missed by all.

Ms Pryor, everyone that knew Timmy and even you know you are lying about what happened that night. Taking his life was an unforgivable sin. Now you want to tarnish his reputation by saying he was abusive, so you can get away with murder. Everyone that knew Timmy will be there to testify that he was NEVER violent. Let’s look at your history of violent behavior, and Timmy’s. Timmy didn’t need to carry a gun and you did. Doesn’t that tell everyone something? If you ever cared for anyone but yourself, you would tell the truth about what happened. You owe it to Timmy’s Family and friends.
I know you have money and connections. That doesn’t mean you should be able to get away with MURDER!!!

To Timmy’s family: my heart goes out to you. I will always remember Timmy as a kind and giving person. He is surly missed!

Woman to stand trial in killing

A woman who is accused of murdering a man in her Tulsa home said she had "no idea" that she was "that good of a shot," a Tulsa police officer testified Monday.

Susan Pryor also said, "My God, I can't believe I killed him," Officer Kerry Whitten said at a preliminary hearing.
At the hearing, Tulsa County Special Judge Cliff Smith ordered Pryor, 49, to face trial on a first-degree murder charge linked to the shooting death of Timothy Lannom.

Pryor, a real estate agent, told police that she acted in self-defense Dec. 18 when she shot Lannom in her condominium in the 8400 block of South College Avenue.

When police and emergency medical personnel arrived, Lannom, 52, was dead on the living room floor. He had been shot in the neck.

The murder count involves an allegation that Pryor had a deliberate intent to kill. At a prosecutor's request, the judge also bound Pryor over for trial on an alternative count of first-degree manslaughter.

The manslaughter alternative alleges that she shot Lannom in the "heat of passion" but "without a premeditated design" to kill him.

Two police officers were the only witnesses to testify at Monday's hearing.

Whitten said Pryor had blood on her hands, hair and clothing at the scene.

He indicated that he escorted her to a patrol car and asked her for her name and date of birth but no other questions.

Whitten said Pryor "asked if he was dead," and the officer said he replied yes, "as far as I could tell."

She said, "May I tell you something? I had no idea I was that good of a shot," according to Whitten.

Pryor, who was cooperative and had an odor of alcohol, did not explain why she shot Lannom, he said.

Defense attorney Clark Brewster argued that those statements should be suppressed as evidence because they resulted from an in-custody interrogation before Pryor had been advised of her Miranda rights.

They include the right to remain silent and to have a lawyer present during questioning, as well as a warning that anything said can be used against the speaker in court.

Smith denied the request to suppress the statements. Assistant District Attorney Scott Gengras said police can ask for identification information without first reading the Miranda rights.

Police Cpl. Brent Leonard said he went to Pryor's home after a dispatcher received a call from a woman who said that "she had shot the victim" and had mentioned an "abusive relationship."

Leonard said he saw Pryor remove an empty shoulder holster she was wearing.

Pryor was charged Feb. 14 and was released from the Tulsa Jail on Feb. 21 upon posting a $99,999 bond.

Tim approached her with his hands up (again from a court document, in Susan Pryor’s‘ own words) and she shot him, dead before he hit the floor.

We, as family, friends and loved ones have sat by patiently watching the circus of her “favors” slowly make a mockery of justice. She spent 7 days in jail. Seven long hard days for her. The DA wanted her held without bail and she was held, then the Judge disregarded all evidence and chose to release her for $99,999 because why?

She was released from jail, violated the terms and conditions of her bond in less than a month. Surely she would go back to jail but NO. Instead she got a slap on the wrist with a Sobriety Monitor and permission to leave the state. What? Anyone else would be back behind bars, but not Susan Pryor. There is NO PUBLIC OUTCRY because everyone is afraid of the “connections” Susan Pryor had.

Susan, you have used your last connection for your get out of jail free card. The TRUTH IS YOU KILLED TIM LANNOM IN COLD BLOOD! Your high priced attorneys will not be able to help you out of this one. You will pay for what you have done and you will not be able to blackmail anyone or use your dirty little secrets to threaten anyone. No one cares about those things. No one will believe you anyway.

So far, everything I have asked for in this case has happened except for letting her out of jail and not putting her back in jail.

Gentlemen, she has no power over you. She is a killer, a cold blooded killer who may kill again. Remember the fact, she threatened to kill herself. Put her behind bars where she belongs on the 28th.

Wow! Stumbled across this mess tonight, and read all the entries, and had read the biased newspaper reports to sell more soap. I sure hope I never screw up and have some of you judging me on my jury. Aside from weird, just plain sick.
Our justice system may be flawed and seem to turn at an incredible slow speed, but that is what makes our system better. Not that it is always perfect by any means as innocent people do go to jail and some have been executed. While others that are guilty walk free.
As to only being able to piece together what I have learned from published reports and on this blog, seems to me the Pryor woman should have her just day in court, as I would welcome mine if in the same predictament. I read on this blog some sick remarks laced with revenge and cry for blood. The hate will consume you, so be careful.
What really concerns me more than the Pryor womans guilt or innocents is my right to protect myself should I also be in the same situation. To be attacked and to be able to defend myself is very important to me. I also read where this same DA that has filed on this Pryor case, also filed on an old man that was being chased around his car by a madman. The old man eventually pulled his gun and shot dead the villian. Yet the DA tried to prosecute the old man, and it was clearly self defense. I think this is the issue also in this case, an over zealous DA that is serving the public beyond common sense. Time will tell. I also am wondering why a clear cut "person of interest" as it is called today with blood on their clothes and hands is not given their Miranda Rights immediately? Are the cops just doing this on TV?
Finale thought and I will quit rambling about what seems to be some loose ends is this very evident rage and hate by the dead man's girlfriend. One person wrote what were you doing living in Hiwaii to be the dead man's woman? I wondered the same thing, and understand the man being in the Pryor womans home due to the ice storm from what was in the paper. I guess this is like we don't pick up hitch hikers any longer, and now we can not open our homes to people in need durring a tragedy for fear of being attacked.

I knew Timmy growing up and was very close with the Ontiveros family. Timmy was never abusive and if he has any fault in this it is because he couldn't say no to someone in need. I had heard Timmy was worried about Susan. But knowing Timmy he tried to only see the good side of someone. He figured he would finish up his business deal and try to move on. I am amazed Susan is at home drinking it up while Timmy is dead. Her statements alone about "being a good shot" brought me to tears. My heart goes out to you all. I am sure justice will be served.

I can asure you I know the girlfriend of Tim. She is one of the most wonderful women you will ever meet. I'm sooo happy to call her my best friend and tita.

After reading all these posts, I have to say that some of this just does not make any sense. Some of you have stated that Susan had threatened Tim, with a gun, before the day she shot him. You state that she was abusive towards him. You state that he was deeply in love with someone else.
If all that is true, why was he staying with Susan during the ice storm???? Why didn't he stay with his girlfriend, family, or another friend????
WHY would he stay with someone that he feared??? It just isn't logical.

Did you know that Tim had a disease on his brain and spinal cord that made him act out of character? Did anyone know about the medications he was taking? Has anyone mentioned his that his blood alcohol at the time of incident was three times the legal limit?

Did'nt you know he had the shingles on his head and face? Did you know that he was taking steroids and other meds that changed his personality? Of course you did'nt, because you really were not there for him when he was alive. Were you??????????
