Tulsa Police Investigate Fatal Drive-By Shooting

The crime is all over! Its not just North Tulsa, it's everywhere. Many of the small towns crime rates are up just as Tulsa's is. One cannot judge a race or side of town based on the person who commits the crime. I don't judge my neighbors because someone in the neighborhood was arrested for manufacturing meth. It's just stupid how people think, and thats the major point, Poeple just dont think before the speak. Prayers go out to all that have lost loved ones and to the ones family's that will be hear greiving as to why their loved ones committed the crime.

I bet the new mayor will be like, whats north tulsa? oh well all the money stays in south tulsa

Isnt it a shame this man lived in an enviroment he felt it neccessary to pack a gun. Maybe working in and around juveniles such as Cedric Jackson he felt the need to protect himself???? Cedric is a product of his enviroment! He was an "OJA success story" till a couple of days ago due to the fact he learned to fake it till he made it out of Rader, manipulalated the system, enrolled in college and was released from OJA custody. Institutionalizing these young males only works for the time we keep them institualized. If I recall, Cedric looked at Mr Woodfaulk as a father figure. R.I.P my friend, their are many juveniles you did truly help and thier lives were changed by something you did, said or maybe just bc you took the time to listen.

Ill continue to pray for your wife and 4 small children who no longer have their father/husband due to another oversight of the judicial system.

Marcella28 and all others who knew this man. I heard he has been in contact with Cedric since his release from rader and even bought Cedric a pair of shoes to begin the school year with. I also heard that Jason was going to meet Cedric to try and help him and that is when the shooting took place. So to hear that this is drug related and a bunch of "thugs" killing each other off outrages me. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Oh my gosh, why did Cedric shoot him then if this man helped him and was a positive influence? How sad. Cedric was given a chance to make something of himself and he totally blew it. Hopefully he will now either receive the same fate as his victim or never walk the earth a free man again!

I don't have the full details of the events that took place on that day but have talked with several people who worked with Jason and have not met one single person who has had anything bad to say about him. I am sure as time goes by things will come into the light, and if it comes out that this had nothing at all to do with drugs I feel that TPD and all the other news channels that released that it was drug related should have to make a public apology to the family.

No, the money stays in the pockets of those that are in control. Don't matter where, if there is an opportunity to make bucks in north Tulsa, thos that are in power will do it without batting an eye.

They should draft all know gang members, send to Afganistan, bring our troops that fight for freedom home!

I like the idea from the movie "Escape from New York". Fence in a large decaying area, throw in all of the murderers, rapists, gang-bangers, etc. etc in together, as long as it is proven without a shadow of a doubt that they committed the crime. Let them try to survive. This also includes the rich and powerful if they committed the crime, not just the lower and middle class.

Those guys don't want to be in a situation where someone might shoot back. They need law abiding citizens over here to carry a gun and send them running for Momma.
