It sounds to me like Drew Edmunson needs to stir up some media attention for his run for governor.

<quoted text>Well, that's just a VERY smart reply to all of this. My husband & I did not even want to retain an attorney after someone smashed into us on our motorcycle but we had no choice & Mr. Anton was recommended to us. We did not seek his services for a bogus claim...we were severly injured and how dare you say some of his clients were greedy as he was. You are apparently as stupid as he was for stealing people's honest claims. Read the charges against him, Girlfriend. He stole over $250K from someone's life insurane which meant someone died. Did you get some of his $1.1 million, too?
back off, psycho. You sure are quick to get defensive..... I didn't say YOUR claim was false, but I did say that I am sure that SOME of them were. But the way you are quick to get angry and try to shift focus off of you tells me that your claim COULD BE bogus... Someone should check into that. And I stand by the post, so there is no need to be hateful and try to accuse me of anything. That's just absurd.

I am really concerned about your stability. That wreck must have knocked a screw loose.

Thanks for the name-calling...(psycho) was very adult of you. You did in fact, imply that our claims, as others who were not legit, were bogus. Read what you wrote. The only screws we had knocked loose were the ones we had shaken from our trust in our fellow man, a man who was recommended to us as a reputable representative for our defense in a ase we needed help with. God help you if you're ever in need of someone who could serve as your representitve in a life-altering incident. What would you do when you're physically, permanently disabled from a driver who caused injuries to you & a loved one & had no insurance to cover your bills. We had uninsured motorist coverage but it wasn't enough...therefore, we retained Mr.Anton who only benefited from our loss. Thanks for your input. You're point was well-made. You have no clue.

LOL!! You read into that post what you wanted. I most certainly did not imply that your case was bogus, so I can't help it if you take everything so personally.

And I hate to go back and forth about name calling, but I think I replied in kind with some of the name calling you threw out there. LOL. Doesn't seem like you have many clues either.

Let us not forget that this is also the man (anton) that took a bullet to save a random women's life in down town tulsa several years back, so with the good comes the bad... I know that gambling is a serious illness and causes people to do things they would not normally do.

Bill anton is a good man who gave everything to anyone. He made a few mistakes to help others. He never did anything to benefit himself. Everything was for family and friends. He made some mistakes but he really is a good man. Why don't you tell that side of the story.
i really think the whole thing is sad; everybody loses in a situation like this. yes, he did a bad thing, but that action in and of it self does not make him a bad person.

do you remember years ago the article in the paper about how he took a bullet for a woman down town to protect her? This shows that he really has much good in him.

my experience with gambling is that it is a poison to some that can causes people to do things they would never consider doing otherwise.

My hope is that the people that were wronged are made whole, and that Mr. Anton finds someway to make restitution to them so that he- in turn, and in time, can once again find peace.

This has to be hard on his family, we should pray for everyone in these type of situations, both victims and perpetrators need our prayers and positive energy.

I think you have it right 0bserver, when you say we need to pray for the families, and try to remember that they are hurting too. I knew Bill Anton was a great guy personally, but we will find out in the end what the real deal was! If he did it for the $ or just because he had an addiction. He needs treatment if it was for gambling and I know for a fact that any addiction can be overcome if the person wants it badly enough. He may have just been a victim of his own vices...I will be following this story until the end.Anton was a smart emough man to know what he would get if he got caught, so why would he put himself in that position?

Perhaps we have to look back to 1995 when he was almost killed. His mentor and former partner was murdered when he answered his door and the most influential person in his life died. Don't know, but I knew him then, and the person they've written about now, is not the one I knew then.

Thanks for sticking up for me for the comments from "JustaRandomGirl" who apparently thinks anyone who uses an attorney to represent them after they've been hurt in an accident is filing bogus claims. Yes, she did imply that our claims weren't legit, more than once. Guess she's the one with the loose screw. Bottom line, Mr. Anton may have been a great guy at one time, like so many have said & I don't disagree with that. We just happened to be the unfortunate ones to meet up with him when he took the wrong road. If they experienced the financial losses that we, who entrusted our LEGIT claims with him, I'm sure they would feel the same way as we do. To all of you who weren't affected by Mr. Anton's & Mr. Schraeder's wrongdoings (this wasn't ALL Anton's fault) think about being out thousands of $$$ because someone didn't pay your bills then see how you would feel. I just feel sorry for ALL involved in this mess. Let justice prevail.

LOL @ you agreeing with yourself. You should work on reading comprehension and then go read that post again. I most certainly did not say I thought ALL claims were bogus.

How dumb to think that everyone who uses an attorney is filing false information and claims. You are ignorant.

You raise a very good point.. I wonder how many of his clients that he stole from sought him out to file a bogus, ridiculous lawsuit in the first place. You know it happened. I am sure some of his clients were greedy as well. For those types of bogus claims and the people who filed them, I hope they did get ripped off! Serves them right.
To the dual personalities RippedOff2 and Very Interested: Please read the above comment VERY CAREFULLY and not that it says "I am sure SOME of his clients were greedy as well"

Do you see the word SOME? Note that I didn't say ALL.

Just what is your interest in this issue except you like calling people names. You are from Houston which means either you know something about all of this, used to live here or just like replying to issues with name-calling because you don't have anything better to do. Call me all the names you want. I won't waste my time replying to any more of your hate posts. I, unlike you apparently, have a real life.

I see you don't have anything to say to the post where I proved you wrong. That's alright though. Have a good day.
