You know sooner rather than later, one of these accidental incursions is going to end with a dead Arizona family.
This type of problem noted in the article, is just one more example of how our elected officials (particularly at the national and federal level) have systemically ignored the basic protection of the safety of it's citizens and national soveriegnty. While I certainly do not condone or encourage violence, it is for me, more and more understandable. When the gov't stops working for the people, it's time for the people to start protecting themselves. |

So Fubar, get off your freaking Mexican high horse. If you don't care enough about your country to go back home and do something about it, then just shut up. Your opinion is worthless. You are useless to your country because you sold out for dollars. Mexico neither wants nor needs you.

Patty you live in Texas, nothing you say has meaning. Mexico can have Texas (and your fat mouth)as far as I am concerned. |

I'm sick of all the illegals running around my town! They hang out IN DROVES outside of the local Home Depot.

It IS strong, it's just that the wealth is not evenly distributed. Mega billionaires abound such as Carlos Slim, but the masses are still dirt poor. Hence their reasons for risking life and limb to provide for their family. |
Exactly right on the money! They need a proper Mexican Revolution, not a "reconquista"... The Mexicans should be taking to their own streets and protesting their own corrupt, inept government oligarchy instead of hypocritically taking to our streets and protesting our government while they are simultaneously trespassing on those same streets and breaking the laws of our government! They obviously don't need more LAND - the only reason they want this land now is that we built a great and civilized society on top of it. Of course, it's not going to stay that way if they just transplant everything that's wrong with their own country and culture north... That's just creating a giant version of Tijuana Norte. 15 years ago had anyone heard of Norteños, MS-13 or 18th Street, or had their kid's kindergarten class ruled by Spanish-speakers? |

Comic Relief~ This is hilarious to me. I think all this border patrol is FUNNY! Once Europeans came here they made these fancy lines and names for places. This "Mexican" stuff just makes these folks go crazy! It's like two dogs pissing on territory.
The US is full of a bunch of REDNECK racists. I bet these WASP men will write a lot of comments how this land is all about them and what THEY think. Like you Good Ole' Boys got anything decent to say. Sit down and guard your land from the invaders and DON'T let them cross your LINE! HA!HA!HA! That'll keep you busy! |

Invaded", your @ss! How many freaking times have U.S. law enforcement officers crossed into Mexico supposedly by mistake? Well if they would kick their ass back over the into Mexico along with yours we wouldn’t be having this problem right A-hole |
Careful chief, throwing those stones. Your spelling actually sucks. |
|
Refresh my memory, please- How did it come to pass that latin america speaks spanish? Maybe through an invasion? You think? Gato got your tongue? |
|
|
Umm..Nope. Still laughing at this one. So, did I catch the interest of a Good Ole' Boy? Yeah, I know Spanish is European Sir.
I don't care who invaded who anymore. That's something you keep tabs on I'm sure. That's very WASPY.

Okay, build that wall, what are we waiting for?

Geeeeeeez! A TRUE AMERICAN REDNECK! HI!

You are making too much sense for this thread. These things happen all the time when when law enforcement from different juridictions come into contact with each other. Obviously we need help from Mexico to secure our borders. Seems like they were tracking the same people we are trying to keep out. We should have bought them a beer so next time they recognize our officers. |

"Ethnocentrism often entails the belief that one's own race or ethnic group is the most important and/or that some or all aspects of its culture are superior to those of other groups. Within this ideology, individuals will judge other groups in relation to their own particular ethnic group or culture, especially with concern to language, behaviour, customs, and religion."
I'm gulity of this at times myself. I just think all this Border Patrol is mostly about Americans having a "Superior" feeling over Mexico. Americans are NOT "Superior" by any means over Mexicans...French are not "Superior" over the Americans etc... |

It is not redneck to want to have a controlled border. I am all for people coming here legally, who have followed the proper procedures and for businesses to be held accountable for paying taxes on their workers, providing medical care so the public doesn't have to, etc. The current system does not work. We have criminals reentering within days of deportation. We have exploitation of labor. We have exploitation of public services. We have a school system that cannot keep up with the students who are not English speakers. We have knee jerk liberals defending those who break our laws, driving without licenses and insurance, etc. We have knee jerk Republicans who don't want employer sanctions. The wall is the only way to create a legal flow that takes into account the financial and societal realities of the immigration situation. The USA cannot be expected to feed and clothe all of Latin America's impoverished, nor should those people be exploited by big business. Ask yourself if the gang bangers in the latin american community are better off than if they had been raised in their home country? They are not. Many are victims theselves of domestic violence, alcohol and drug abuse, etc. Many will spend years in prison. Your desire to paint this in a broad swathe with name calling shows you really don't know very much about the situation as a whole. It is not as black and white as you would like to believe.

It's not about superiority or ethnicity. How about an unequal burden to our nation's EXPENSES. Americans no longer want to foot the bill so that foreign invaders can take advantage of free education, free health care etc. They hit our social services heavily and it's draining our treasury! |
