I think this is terrible. How can anyone keep so many animals in a trailer. How disgusting. Those poor dogs,I hope they get a bettr home. That could have killed them with urine and feces all over the place.what was she thinking??? She deserves her pets taken away....ALL OF THEM. Who knows she might go out and buy more. How sad. I pray for the puppies and parrots. My heart goes out to those animals. Not to the owner. Thats terrible. I cant imagine the smell of the house. God bless them all...except for the owner.

As a pet owner, this is just devastating. Pets, both the dogs and parrots, need homes where they receive the love and care of their owners. How long has this been going on. This is beyond any love and care a pet should receive. I believe they should be charged and never permitted to own another animal. I hope the authorites, who now have the dogs and parrots, find them very good homes. We need to give all living things respect. This act is dispectful, and doesn't even reach humane.

There is "NO" excuse for this.At any age they were well aware that they were wrong!!!!! I would like to see them both put into a cage (not a jail cell, that would be too big)together until all the dogs are adopted out!

I totaly agree with you!! how could none of their neighbors notice that one day they have 2 dogs and later on, 800!!! that is so sad! And i wonder if any of the dogs tried to attack the parrots because out of 800 dogs u would think that some of them might do that. I understand that the owners had some sort of disese but honestly, that is not ok. Besides, didn't they have friends, family, docters or someone that visited and noticed what was going on. i can imagine that u could smell all the crap from outside!!!!!!

The reasons neighbors didn't know was because it is in a very rural desert area and may be hundreds of
feet or hundreds of yards apart, there's miles of
desert out here,so for all you people that live in
the city and live close to your neighbors this was
not the case of them living close.

Its mental illness.
Collecters, no matter what of, are mentally ill.

They start and its manageable, and then it gets to a place where its not, but they dont know how to get back to manageable.

I feel bad for both the people and the dogs.

I feel worse for the other dogs that got put down because these small dogs took up potential homes.
Strange how hundreds of mixed breed large dogs are put to sleep every day because of the lack of homes, but somehow 800 dogs found homes in hours.
