Bypassing Obama's usual tactic of pretending to speak for people he can't comprehend, I notice he doesn't refer to the Citizen who wouldn't harm anyone with the gun. Only soldiers and "criminals", but NOT a law-abiding Man or Woman.

When the 2nd started to be victorious in the courts Mrs. Brady told her followers not to worry; they have something planned. Obama was being a little more than disingenuous with his "AK 47" remark. The guns soldiers and the police use are generally not available to civilians. Automatic weapons have not been widely available for sale since 1936.

The imagery of a single shooter, spraying lead in every direction plays well with the ignorant, though and that's an image Obama is hoping to capitalize on - not because he cares about guns, gun violence or people in general, but because it's playing to his base in an election year.
