I see why the SPLC went after Barnett. He testified to Congress. They probably thought it was a big feather in their cap.

Actually the article doesn´t explain itself well. There were two different cases against this Barnett character and their refusal to dismiss is ´reasonable cause´ to believe they are telling the truth. Probably based on past experience with Barnett...since the first case is when he went off of his property to detain someone on STATE LAND and the person he detained and abused illegally was not only a US citizen and his children but a Hispanic that was retired from the US ARMED FORCES. He lost his suit and is about to lose his land over it.

The thing about tresspassing is you can secure your land...you can´t do the things he did in order to stop tresspass. You can scare them off. If you are in immediate danger which you aren´t if you are holding a gun and they aren´t...you can defend your property if the person is armed or you have reason to show you fear for your life...grazing rights doesn´t mean your land either...that would be state land that you are permitted to allow your animals to roam on. You can´t detain someone against their will...only law enforcement can do that...if you do it it is kidnapping. If you beat someone when you have them detained already you are also going to be in trouble for unreasonable force...yes you are obligated to follow the law and no you can´t assault them at will just because they were on your land or on state land. You also can´t make threats or say some of the outrageous things like he has said in the past. He pointed a gun at an eleven year old girl who was a US CITIZEN and threatened to kill her btw. He also called her some very outrageous things...perhaps you guys need to think about who you call hero and defend here or investigate him some more first. The guy is a white supremist.

The article was vague, How do you get from illegal alien to a us citizen from the content of it? This must be one of the only white people can be racist people we all have to put up with Just because anti- illegal immigrants are racist right?
I hope this lawsuit is trashed Illegals should only have the right to be deported, regardless of their origin.
