For anyone who wishes to add or subtract from The Boot Plan for revamping of the country. Feel free. There's gotta be a better way.

What The Boot has provided is clearly an excellent foundation of which I believe the Majority would agree with. It's just become such a complicated system - one that needs to be sized down - not up sized anymore. Cleaned out - cleared up and back into a Modified America having learned from our mistakes. The Hippies of the 60's had some very good ideas & took a strong stand, However, the drugs pooring in, as well as, big business & Gov't wanted that quashed ASAP as they truly did pose a threat to them.

Remember, fighting the system we'll never win. They have too much control & power via work/media/resources - United We Stand / Divided we've fallen.

The powers that be have actually got away with voting fraud. Not just in Fla. with Bush - that one was just a little more current. There's just got to be another way.

Local Law Enforcement
- Focus on the core problems (murder, rape, theft, gang activity, etc). We spend so much time, money and effort patrolling the streets looking for speeders. This seems like a waste of useful resources. Speeding will take place forever, unless we start putting little receivers in cars that receive signals from local speed posted transmitters that allow the vehicle to run no more than set speed. Although speeding 20 mph over the speed limit could prove to be dangerous. It is very much dependent on the situation. 30 mph above the speed limit in the middle of the desert on a very straight strip of deserted road is probably not very dangerous. Seems like a refocus is in order. We did not hire you to watch everyone's little every move. We hired you to keep us save from things that threaten our lives on a daily basis. We did not hire you to put up speed traps, cameras and the like so that you can RAISE MONEY. We already provide you with money. No need for REVENUE ENHANCEMENT ZONES.
When the Big Guys completely took control of America, one had no choice but to become part of a bigger whole to survive. Kind of like getting Health Insurance if you were part of a large Company of which had to include you. These gangs, most of them are survivors taking care of their own. It's the sociapaths within any organization that must be weeded out as that's the toxic cancer within. And, you'll find them in Banks, Politics, Wall Street, Police Dept.s, ATF / FBI / CIA, Football Teams & all kinds of street gangs. They just are the Masters at staying hidden.

Guys/Gals,

We know that we can't just fight and fight. That is counterproductive. We do have the power of the internet on our side. I don't have all the money required to push this up the flag pole. I do however have the ability to type and to think. Remember, the Pen is more powerful than the sword. In this case, it is very important for us to gain some momentum and get people interested.

If you believe that we can take back control of what our public servants do. Please share this admitedly crude plan with those who you know. I share with a few and those share with a few, and all of a sudden, we have a movement.

A person named Keri has also recently contributed a bunch of good info. on one of the posts.

We need to move and get moving. Can't sit around hoping for change.

It's been interesting, when people stop fighting about who is good, bad, wrong right we learn it's pretty mixed. As long as we are "free" to type & discuss solutions & get unstuck from the same 'ole problems we'll make some headway. I was so excited to see a small program of Colorado taking an indenpendent stand. This is a true beginning as well as the many of us who have had to humble down & admit, we've been bamboozled again.

Good post FL. This shouldn't be about whether I am right or whether you are right. This should be a forum where we constructively come up with solutions to help fix the problems. This is not easy. At least it is not for me, as I am not a politician. Just a simple person with a couple of technical degrees and not much experience in the world of politics.

Together, we all can make a difference. Let's not sit around and wait for Hope and Change to drop out of the sky to us. Let's make that change. Let's create that hope.

Thank you. What are the issues at hand. What are the solutions to those issues. Who is pushing us to vote a certain way & for what motive? That cuts to the chase for me every time!

I know the law silly guys but thank you. Those are the "charges" against Johnny of which it's going to cost allot of money to prove his innocense. A root problem in our society is stuff like this. Everyone makes money but the wrongly accussed. It's easy to paint a guy who is as independent as Johnny into this horrible crazy biker guy - the good news is it is his home town & too many people know his character, so this one isn't flying so quickly & easily!

I tell my kid on a regular basis to be careful about the past that he is creating today as it will come back to haunt him tomorrow. Some days he listens, somedays he feels smarter than I.

You ain't lying there. I was a smart-ass-kid, however, I knew where and when and I knew how to learn from stupidity that others went through. Not the case here. This one must try it for himself just to make sure no one lied to him.

Oh well, decisions will be made and consequences will be paid. I'll remind him when I'm an old boot. He's just a freakin' sandal at this point in life. Isn't showing the makings of a boot yet.

LOL! I was more like your kid: had to find out for myself. Yes, lived & learned through the many consequences - no doubt. My oldest Son, funny - more like you & an engineer to boot - my younger son I would just like to say, "God isn't finished just yet" ... They are both great guys however, each unique & each my treasured gifts.

Yeah, this is an interesting part of my life. I've found that there is not a problem that I cannot solve. Problems of independent little minds are a completely different story. I hope he makes the right decisions over the next few years, or he will suffer the consequences.

What kind of engineer is your son? I have a special place in my mind for engineers. These are very special people.

I think we should have more engineers in public office. Engineers are problem solvers and people who take action (not all of them, but the mind set is there).

Hmmm ...

A boot regardless of the origin of that boot is none-the-less a boot.
