New State Law wrote:
New Arizona State Law 10-22-08
When a person, no matter what their age is, takes the life of another human being, they will immediatly be terminated within 30 days of conviction.
With a State Law like that,
The people who are killing other people would soon slow down because they'd get the message, they won't go to Camp Cup Cake anymore, its your dead in 30 days upon conviction.
An eye for an eye and a life for a life.
Now that would be a good law to have here today.
can you cite the statute for me please? If you're going to say there is a "new law", please cite the statute for validation of what you say. thx

That's so true. Living in Van Nuys CA, Blacks and Mexicans at war is even more evident. "Why can't we all just get along"
So wearing red or blue can get you killed? What if you just happen to like wearing blue or red? Is the general public at risk for wearing the wrong color? scary world we live in.

I'm pretty sure he was proposing a new state law, and I'm also pretty sure he wasn't entirely serious.

I kinda got that drift after I read it, because I am in touch with the legal community and have heard of no such new law...appeals are mandatory after a death sentence, you have more than 30 days to even file the appeal. I read things too fast sometimes. When I hear of a law like that I think of (((28 ARS 1234(A)(2)(an example...))) that's how my mind works. I think, I need to hit Westlaw and find that law. thank you tho' I was jumping the gun so to speak.
peace fo sho'

I think gangs are feared by citizens more than they are tolerated. It's law enforcement who is responsible for the toleration factor. Just my opinion.

No, believe me...I have been on plenty of threads where I was speaking out against gangs, and people were bashing me. We live in a sick society. It is very disturbing.

The sad fact, is that our law enforcement is understaffed, outgunned, and have to fear that they do everything by the book. With the ACLU and others sticking their noses in where it doesn't belong, I am surprised that anyone wants to be in law enforcement.

I know, if only Barack Obama could just talk some sense into those gangbangers, he could solve the problem of gang violence. I truly believe that!

I assume we're differentiating gangs and crews though, right?

Because a lot of crews are very much so good, contributing members of society.

No, no not at all. Hardcore crews like the SSS, FSU, TCRP; all they really do is get drunk, protect themselves/others in their scenes, drink, and fight. Also art crews like CSU, JK, ICT, UK, FTB; none of them really do anything other than make our city beautiful. Crews are tight-knit families with specific aims. Gangs are a bunch of hoodlums with no pride, dignity, or desires other than money and power.

This is all really sad for the Mother & Family left behind. My Sos bestfriend was shot at 29th & Wilmot 2008, and for what? Now my SoN is locked up, and for what? Two years later he still misses his friend. When are you youngsters going to learn life is suppose to be a gift? Quit tempting fate, your time shall be here soon enough. My heart goes out to the Mother of David, she is the one you ALL should be respecting.
