Golf Courses Now Grow in Vietnam's Rice Fields
It may be the most capitalist enterprise in Communist Vietnam - by the rich and for the rich: a proliferation of golf courses that is displacing thousands of farmers and devouring the rice fields the country depends on.

I know it sounds bad when you read news about golf courses and industrial zones replaced rice fields. But think about it. How long have VNmese grow rice for a living? And have they been rich? Of course rice growers always the poorest in VN for centuries. I think it's time for change. Something new, more profit and every body win. Your way of look at thing always make me feel Nguy like you still have ape's brain. |
