Vending machines are too heavy. They would use alot of fuel. You can get rid of the business class gallies and put in seats.

This is an airline in a serious nose dive. The executives are writing a new business model: "How to thoroughly screw your customers and hope for the best." The employees need a revolution to stop this train wreck.

I've been a United 1K for the last five years. This year I have chosen to take my business elsewhere because United Airlines doesn't even treat me as well as other airlines, where I have no "status," treat me. It's the sad demise of a once good airline, all at the hands of an inept Mr. Tilton.

A just a couple of years ago UALs plan was to recapture the biz traveler. Now taking away a meal in biz class just doesnt seem like a good idea to me. I know I will avoid UAL when I travel intl now.

US Airways is hardly making any money with the a la carte crap service. I'm an US employee in phx and I witness it everyday, alot of flights only bring in a whopping $10-30 selling drinks. It's a worthless shoe-string shotgun operation.

Wow $300 so what. That is a drop in the bucket for revenue. The truth is the flight attendant like this new process because it is less for for them and more time crossword puzzles.

How many flights do we operate a day? The money adds up. Quit your job if you hate it. I am sorry you resent flight attendants so much. We are not all bad!

It does not add up $$$ compared to the lost revenue of unhappy customers, and tickets prices can easily be adjusted that 50 cents to make that $300. Not to mention the amount of money needed to fund the new card scanners, it is a complete wash and does more harm than good. No go back and finish reading that People magazine.

My flts are full. Customers that I come across do not mind paying. You do not have to agree with me but the insults are uncalled for. You do not know me.
