Within days of Obama's return from a 9 day vacation in Hawaii, factcheck.org has posted a new and improved version of The Chosen One's birth certificate.
I know, I'm stunned, too! Factcheck, funded primarily by the Annenberg Foundation ... hey, wait a minute ... why does Annenberg Foundation ring a bell? Something to do with Chicago and Obama's homie, Bill Ayers, but I can't quite put my finger on it ... |

"If history teaches us anything, it teaches that simple-minded appeasement or wishful thinking about our adversaries is folly. It means the betrayal of our past, the squandering of our freedom."
- Ronald Reagan |
Here's a better link: <http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_... ; Glad to see you are all still spending time on the birth certificate. Next you could try researching how many homes McCain owns. There seems to be some question on that. |

1 And None Dare Call It Treason by Patrick J. Buchanan Who is Randy Scheunemann? He is the principal foreign policy adviser to John McCain and potential successor to Henry Kissinger and Zbigniew Brzezinski as national security adviser to the president of the United States. But Randy Scheunemann has another identity, another role. He is a dual loyalist, a foreign agent whose assignment is to get America committed to spilling the blood of her sons for client regimes who have made this moral mercenary a rich man. From January 2007 to March 2008, the McCain campaign paid Scheunemann $70,000 -- pocket change compared to the $290,000 his Orion Strategies banked in those same 15 months from the Georgian regime of Mikheil Saakashvili. What were Mikheil's marching orders to Tbilisi's man in Washington? Get Georgia a NATO war guarantee. Get America committed to fight Russia, if necessary, on behalf of Georgia. Scheunemann came close to succeeding. Had he done so, U.S. soldiers and Marines from Idaho and West Virginia would be killing Russians in the Caucasus, and dying to protect Scheunemann's client, who launched this idiotic war the night of Aug. 7. That people like Scheunemann hire themselves out to put American lives on the line for their clients is a classic corruption of American democracy." That people like McCain hire people like Scheunemann is a classic corruption. What's happened to McCain's sense of honor? |

The question I have is why are soooo many white people afraid of a black man in office. Obama has moved closer to the center and in some cases far right (Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia-Georgia)? He is likely to pick Biden as his running mate to appease those who attack his soft approach to world poltics...so what gives?
By the way, I am NOT black, and this is not a racist attack. Gallup polls, and most of you on this blog confirm the "black scare" that seems to dominate this campaign. |

Support John McCain for President - he is not black.

I agree The Chosen One has flip-flopped his way closer to center from far left field and, as you point out in your post, anyone not voting for The Messiah will be labeled a racist. However, you fail to mention that should we elect Obama, we can kiss the 2nd Amendment goodbye. I'm betting the ranch you were not born in Texas. |

Obama - Anti-2nd Amendment McCain - Owns more than one home Thanks for putting this in perspective for me. |

Do you think gun control has an impact on crime rates in the United States? Yes, I do think that reasonable gun control measures reduces violent crime and saves lives. I respect the constitutional rights of Americans to bear arms. But we can't deny that gun violence has taken the lives of too many Americans. I believe that through common-sense measures, we can keep guns from those who may pose a threat, while also protecting the rights of legitimate hunters and sportsmen. Do you think tighter restrictions should be in place for those buying a firearm? I support reasonable, common-sense measures to limit such occurrences. I would close the gun-show loophole and require mandatory background checks on purchasers at gun shows. That loophole has been exploited by everyone from foreign terrorists to the Columbine High School shooters. Closing it would not impair the rights of hunters and other lawful gun owners. I also believe that we should make the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent. Those weapons belong on a foreign battlefield, not on our streets. Finally, I support making guns in this country child proof. This is, again, a common-sense solution: guns and kids don't mix. |

Thanks for proving my point!

What point? I'm not sure what relation Obama's 2nd amendment views have to do with McCain not knowing how many homes he owns. Lost me there. But as far as Obama, he says he supports the right of individual gun ownership. Isn't that what the 2nd amendment says? But I know, I know, you feel like any law or regulation affecting gun ownership is an attack on your right to go do some subsistence hunting with your brand new assault rifle around your Arizona estate with 3, 4, or 5 homes on it or something. Whatever. Personally, I agree with Obama that some realistic laws and regulations should be applied, on a local or statewide basis as deemed necessary by those particular areas. I'm sure it might have some effect on profits for the arms makers and dealers, but I want buying and owning a gun to be at least as hard as owning and driving a car (to be honest, I want it to be a LOT harder and to take a LOT longer). Take lessons, get a permit, pass a test to get a license, waiting periods, mental health evaluations (I kid...sort of), maybe even outlawing some kinds of guns. I know this will annoy all you gunslingers, but tough. If it stops even just one depressed kid, desperate loner, or right-wing radio listener who loses his job from taking it out on a bunch of innocents, then I'm for it. I admit the 2nd amendment- gun ownership- is a hot issue for some people. Like abortion. Or religion. Or the Presidential candidate's birth certificate. I'm not a constitutional expert or anything, but it seems like the 2nd amendment, after the "separation of church and state", may be the most debated amendment of all. You have your interpretation. I have mine. But I don't have a problem with some reasonable regulations and limits on gun ownership so I have to go with Obama on this one. I realize 'ole "shoot first and ask questions later" McCain would like weapons as freely available as possible. But this ain't the wild west any more. I'm just glad he wasn't President with his finger on the trigger (or the button) when this whole Georgia/Russia thing went down. Just because McCain's foreign policy advisor worked for the Georgians and made a few promises isn't a good enough reason for WWlll. Oh, and as far as McCains homes? Apparently, McCain has so many that he has trouble keeping track. You know, I have to say, that sounds to me just a little...what's that word?...oh, yeah- elitist. But hey, who am I to disparage McCain for enjoying the benefits of his self-made fortune, the benefits of his own hard work, his own...oh wait, nevermind. |
|
|
Proof, once again, that Obama's children of darkness, the scab covered mutant liberals I affectionately call, Obama-bots, are forever lost.
|
|
Heh, heh, you wish we were lost. But we're not. See you at the polls. |
|
|
I can't wait to learn the number of fraudulent voters A.C.O.R.N registers on Obama's behalf!
|
|
That's so funny. Because I was just now wondering how many QUALIFIED voters the Republicans would try to disenfranchise, remove from the voter lists, confuse, "misplace" or "miscount" their ballots, or outright try to bar from voting. Great minds think alike! |

Why is there so much fear over "Communisium"? You are all the victim of
"western media" that people will be put under a gun and told what to do. "TRUE" democacy and communisum is the same, where the power is put in the hands of ALL! Only then will government be "pure". Right now the power of government is in the hands of few. Leading to corruption... self interest and greed. Government exist for the people..NOT...people exist for government". People can exist without government...but government can not exist without its people. We need to continually reform government to achieve TRUE and PURE government. |

1 Wikipedia is never a valid source of fact(s). It is edited by anyone and everyone...find something real. Obama is not a good choice to run this country. Unfortunately for us, we have two idiots running. We have to pick the lesser of two evils, which would be McCain...at least he's not un-American (in most ways) as Obama and his loud-mouthed wife. |
