Report: Obama mentored by Communist Party figure

Investigations show ties to radicals who shaped him, helped launch his political career

By Jerome R. Corsi

Barack Obama had extensive ties with extreme anti-American elements, including agents of the Moscow-controlled Communist Party USA, in Hawaii and Chicago, according to two new reports released yesterday in Washington, D.C., by two experienced internal security investigators.

Oh come on, obvious swift-boating. The Washington Post:

"These and many other implausible accusations were offered by a group of conservatives yesterday -- including a living relic from the House Committee on Un-American Activities -- in a Capitol Hill basement. The charges ranged from the absurd to the merely questionable, but anybody who watched the Swift Boat campaign of 2004 make John Kerry look like a war criminal knows that's not the point."

From wikipedia:
In August 2004, during Corsi's cooperation with the Swiftboat Veterans for Truth, the website Media Matters for America reposted a number of controversial comments some interpreted to be anti-Islam, anti-Catholicism, anti-semitic and anti-homosexuality[6] made by Corsi at the forum threads of the Free Republic website, dating from 2001 through 2004. Corsi responded that the selected posts were failed attempts at humor, but the Media Matters for America story rapidly spread.[7] When questioned about his connection with Corsi at this time, John O'Neill claimed that Corsi was not actually a co-author of the book Unfit for Command, but rather was "simply an editor." ("Scarborough Country," Aug. 10, 2004; "Wolf Blitzer Reports," Aug. 11, 2004).[8] However, O'Neill described Corsi as the book's "coauthor" in a 2007 letter to the New York Times [4], and Scott Swett and TimZiegler describe Corsi's efforts in writing the book, referring to him as one of its "authors," in their book "To Set the Record Straight" (pp. 120-124).
Conservative author and pundit Debbie Schlussel has accused Corsi of plagiarizing elements from columns that she has published, and subsequently posting them under his byline in his WorldNetDaily column.[9][10]
Corsi is also a prominent endorser of the concept of "abiotic oil" production; the idea that oil is naturally produced underground through methods other than the scientifically-accepted process of converting biological material. This view is sometimes used to counter concerns over "peak oil", but as yet has no demonstrable basis in fact

"Media Matters" is an ultra liberal group backed by George Soros's billions of dollars. Hard to put stock in a so called news watchdog that has its views bought and paid for!

from sourcewatch:
"WorldNetDaily (WND) is an internet news and commentary site founded in May 1997 by Joseph Farah, a former editor of several major-market daily newspapers and a founder of the conservative non-profit Western Journalism Center. The site became a for-profit arm of the Center in October 1999."
" It also operates a book-publishing division, WND Books, which has published books by Michael Savage, Katherine Harris, Joseph Farah, and Jerome Corsi, among others. In January 2008, WND announced it had acquired its publishing partner, World Ahead Publishing."

and from an earlier libel lawsuit:
"On September 20, 2000, WND published an article claiming that Clark Jones, a Tennessee car dealer and fund-raiser for then-Vice President Al Gore, had interfered with a criminal investigation, had been a "subject" of a criminal investigation, was listed on law enforcement computers as a "dope dealer," and implied that he had ties to others involved in alleged criminal activity. In 2001, Jones filed a lawsuit against WND; the reporters, Charles C. Thompson II and Tony Hays; the Center for Public Integrity, which had underwritten Thompson and Hays' reporting on the article and related ones ; and various Tennessee publications and broadcasters who he accused of repeating the claim, claiming libel and defamation. The lawsuit had been scheduled to go to trial in March 2008 , but on February 13, 2008, WND announced that a confidential out-of-court settlement had been reached with Jones. A settlement statement jointly drafted by all parties in the lawsuit states in part:
"Discovery has revealed to WorldNetDaily.com that no witness verifies the truth of what the witnesses are reported by authors to have stated. Additionally, no document has been discovered that provides any verification that the statements written were true."

The Western Journalism Center, founded in 1991 by Joseph Farah and James H. Smith, who had previously worked together as editor and publisher, respectively, of the Sacramento Union. Based in Sacramento, California, the Center is known for its funding and promotion of conservative causes in the 1990s.

The Carthage Foundation is controlled by Richard Mellon Scaife, whose foundations gave $330,000 to the Center in 1994 and 1995.

In 1997, Farah created the news website WorldNetDaily as a division of the Western Journalism Center. In 1999, WorldNetDaily was spun off as a for-profit division of the Center. The Center and Farah own a majority of WorldNetDaily's stock.

OBAMA: "I WILL CHANGE THE COUNTRY AND I WILL CHANGE THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT TODAY! I WILL MAKE IT SO THE WORLD WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH MORE TERRORISM AND TERRORIST ACTIONS AND THREATS BY BEGINNING A DIALOGUE WITH SUCH SAVAGE AND UNCIVIL ANIMALS SUCH AS THESE! I WILL JUST GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT - THEN MAYBE THEY WILL "JUST" GO AWAY! WE WILL PAY THEM WITH ROYALTY TO "JUST" LEAVE US ALONE! I DO NOT CARE THAT THEY "JUST" WANT US ALL DEAD! I WILL APPEASE THEM IN ANY WAY THAT I CAN SO THAT I MIGHT UNDERSTAND "JUST" UNDERSTAND WHAT IT IS THAT MAKES THEM LOATHE US SO MUCH! I WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE FIRST MAN TO BE SMART ENOUGH TO "JUST" GIVE IN TO TERRORISTS, TERRORISM, AND TERRORIST SUPPORTING NATIONS WHO WOULD "JUST" AS SOON KILL INNOCENT CIVILIANS TO GET WHAT THEY WANT! MY GREAT "CHANGE" OF MAKING AMERICA WEAK AND SUPPORTING TERROR IS "JUST" AROUND THE CORNER! AND I WILL HAVE ALL OF THE DEMOCRAT IGNORANT FOOLS WHO VOTED FOR ME TO THANK! BUT FIRST I MUST HAVE DIALOGUE WITH ALL TERRORISTS AND TERRORIST SUPPORTING COUNTRIES! I WAS RAISED AS A MUSLIM! MY FATHER WAS A MUSLIM! I KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH MUSLIM TERRORISTS! I HAVE A GREAT EMPATHY FOR THEIR STRUGGLE AND I WILL REACH OUT MY HAND WITH AN OLIVE BRANCH INSTEAD OF WEAPONS FOR OUR PROTECTION! I WILL "JUST" GIVE THEM WHAT THEY WANT, THE ONLY THING THAT THEY WANT - THE DEATH OF AMERICA AND ISRAEL! THEN MAYBE, "JUST" MAYBE, THE WORLD WILL "NO LONGER" HAVE TO DEAL WITH TERRORISM! IT WILL BE A "GREAT CHANGE!""

Obama is not a Muslim. The Jewish blogs put that out to undermine him. He is deeply Christian and went to the United Church of Christ with its roots which go back to Puritan New England. Ignore these blogs from paid McCain and Hillary operatives.

Did you expect anything less from him? Just listening to what he wants to do when elected will leave any rational thinking person scratching their heads in disbelief.

Obama pastor's theology: Destroy 'the white enemy'
'If God is not for us and against whites ... we had better kill him'

Rev. Jeremiah Wright in interview last year on 'Hannity and Colmes'
Barack Obama's suddenly radioactive pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, has defended himself against charges of anti-Americanism and racism by referring to his foundational philosophy, the "black liberation theology" of scholars such as James Cone, who regard Jesus Christ as a "black messiah" and blacks as "the chosen people" who will only accept a god who assists their aim of destroying the "white enemy."

"If God is not for us and against white people," writes Cone, "then he is a murderer, and we had better kill him. The task of black theology is to kill gods who do not belong to the black community."

Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa
An Iowa Republican congressman refuses to back down from his assertion terrorists will celebrate if Democratic candidate Sen. Barack Obama is elected president.

Rep. Steve King's interview with a paper in his home state Friday drew reaction from the Obama campaign, which demanded Republican presumptive nominee Sen. John McCain denounce the remarks.

King, speaking from Washington this morning, told Radio Iowa his comments were "factually accurate" and a "reasonable" assessment of how Obama is perceived in the Middle East.

"What is discouraging to me is to hear all the allegations that came out and all the name-calling that came my way because I pointed out something that has to do with the culture of the Middle East and how it will be viewed and how a declaration for defeat as a presidential candidate will be viewed by our enemies," King said.

"They'll see it as victory and that's really the central point."

(Story continues below)

The congressman told Radio Iowa the media missed his main contention: It's Obama's promise to pull American troops out of Iraq that will be celebrated by the terrorists as an American defeat.

"They will be dancing in the streets, and they'll be dancing in the streets in greater numbers than they did on September 11th," King said. "They will declare victory and they will use it to recruit more al-Qaida."

Radio Iowa noted King's mention of Obama's middle name, Hussein, sparked the most criticism over the weekend.

The congressman insisted he never used the name "Hussein" in Friday's interview with the Daily Reporter in Spencer, Iowa.

But King did refer to Obama's "middle name" as having different meaning for Muslims overseas, and in his radio interview this morning, he expanded on that.

"His middle name is the name of the grandson of Muhammad. It's used many, many times throughout the Muslim world and it associates itself with the religion and with the heritage and with the struggle and with some of the violence that's over there as well," King said. "And so it isn't just one person who was a dictator in Iraq, it's a thread that goes through the entire Muslim world."
