This is Mugabe's way of negotiating.It is by forcing people to dance to his tune. The bigest problem with the negotiations other than Mugabe is Mbeki. To be a mediator in negotiations you must be totally impartial/neutral. Mbeki can never be that as he is very close to his comrade Mugabe. Get rid of Mbeki and the probability of reaching a real and workable compromise will increase by 70%.
Mugabe is and will always be a dictator and will not give up his powers. History tells us that the majority of the dictators at the ned of their reign of terror, was desposed of by either legal or illegal methods. Mugabe knows this and will therefore cling to power as long as he is alive.
