If your numbers are correct, then Puerto Vallarta has a far HIGHER homicide rate than The City Of New York.
http://www.nyc.gov/html/nypd/downloads/pdf/cr...
The City Of New York has a population of about 8.1 million people. There have been 223 homicides in the city so far this year. That's the lowest amount ever recorded since reliable city crime statistics started being kept by the city.
That's also a homicide rate of 5.5 per 100,000 according to my calculations.
THAT MEANS THAT PUERTO VALLARTA'S HOMICIDE RATE IS ABOUT 400% THAT OF NEW YORK'S !
YOU'RE SAYING THAT'S BETTER ???!!!
Anyone want to refute my numbers ???
No his numbers are not correct......

If you look at my response you will see the discrepancy........

You claimed that New York had a crime rate as low as Vallarta and it does not.......
As far as gun control oslama will never mention it he will just sign a treaty with the UN that will do all he wants for gun control.
Give me the crime rate figures for Puerto Vallarta.

Peurto Vallarta's homicide rate (from the figures given to me above) is 400% HIGHER than New York's homicide rate. That's safer ?!

Are you disputing my numbers ?

btw, I moved here to Oro Valley, AZ in December. That's a few miles north of Tucson.

THE CITY OF SOUTH TUCSON is a separate city from Tucson, but is an ENCLAVE of Tucson. Looking at the crime figures teh other day, it appears that SOUTH TUCSON is either ONE OF THE MOST DANGEROUS CITIES in the U.S. OR THE MOST DANGEROUS CITY IN THE U.S.

The City Of South Tucson is one sqaure mile within The City Of Tucson and is more tahn 80% Hispanic.

"South Tucson, has been struggling heavily with dangerously high crime rates. In most crime categories, South Tucson has higher 2006 crime rates than those of Camden, New Jersey, which is the United States's most dangerous city on Morgan Quitno's statistics. South Tucson (as a standalone city) has more than four times the United States average in larceny theft and aggravated assault. Murder and rape are at a considerably lower rate than Camden, and robbery is at essentially the same rate, although all these figures greatly exceed national averages."

Too bad you are not smart enough to read..........LOL

I spelled out the discrepancies for you..........LOL

For example the crime rate is including the whole bay east to Mascota but the census that counts people only includes the number of people living in the city limits.....

Also no Foreigner is counted no matter how long they live here unless they are a citizen or have a FM2 and a FM2 means they can't drive a US plated car so very few go to the FM2

According to AMPI (the multi list company) over 250k Americans and Canadians live in the bay more than 6 months per year.....

Plus we must include the total population that the crime rate is calculated on and that is more than 500k

Also someone killed in a car crash is considered a homicide also if someone fell on a zip line adventure and died that is also considered a homicide. Any death even if a accident is considered a homicide if someone was responsible or the death could have been prevented.......
Last year we had a child drown at the water park....It was listed as a homicide and charges were filed against the park because he was not wearing the life vest...

So you have to separate them from a murders

Last year if you exclude car crashes and other deaths we had three murders........In over 500k people.....
One was a narco lawyer in the Marina and one was a drunken brawl and the last was a cheating spouse....

Whatever the true figures are, I wouldn't draeam of ever setting foot in Mexico. It's just too dangerous as far as I'm concerned.

And what the hell is in Mexico that I couldn't find or see in the U.S.?

And if Mexico is so great and safe, then why do we have a flood of illegal aliens from Mexico flooding the U.S. everyday ?

As far as I'm concerned, we should hie the East Germans who built The Berlin Wall, and have them build a simialr structure on our border with Mexico.

And anyone caught entering the U.S. illegally should be sentenced to 50 years in prison here minimum before being deported.

I've never entered a foreign country illegally. Why should we let others do so with impunity ?

Yes sheepoles like you would say that..........
Lady ga ga came for a visit and bought a house but yet she thinks California is to dangerous......
Melinda Gates can be seen in a local cafe but she does not do that in California....

The list would take thousands of pages....
How many pyramids in the USA?
How many churches or buildings over 300 years old?
How many palm tree lined beaches?
The culture.......
How many places in the USA can kids be kids and go to the beach or play in the river.....
My 8 year old rides a bike all over.......Alone or with other kids.......They are not allowed that in california....

Why do criminals go to the USA?
This again needs thousands of pages.....
First the Mexican government will give convicts the choice of jail or going to the USA
Second moronic liberals will give them free food, clothes, housing, medical and education...
Why does Bill gates and billionaires like him have homes here?

Here we agree.........The border needs to be sealed.........Educated Mexicans laugh at the USA and they way they allow criminal invaders to live in the USA......

For my children to be able to enter even a private school they need..........
1. Birth certificate with an Apostle stamp
2. Passport
3. Fm2 or FM3
4. We must meet with the department of educations and explain why we want our children in school in Mexico.
5. The document from the DOE that allows them into the PRIVATE school.

If there is not room for another student in the class and a Mexican wants in my child is emoted and the room given to the national...

Even as we are here legally we are not allowed any free government aid..........Period......

Yes the border needs to be sealed but it will never happen as liberals desperately need the votes.....

I like it here in Mexico, but you are very misleading. You honestly seem like a salesman. Maybe it is OK in your neighborhood but, WOW!! Remember you live in a resort. Young groups of men drive around and find beautiful girls here in their cars. Kidnap them, rape them repeatedly and then drop them off the next morning. Young kids are shot in parks. Rape of young children is off the charts here. Most of it is not reported. I married a girl here that I thought was my dream. Turned out that she was so twisted because her father touched her and molested her. Her Uncle and a Cousin raped her repeatedly at a very young age. She only chases after married men because she can manipulate them with sex and sweetness. I will admit I fell for it. I am not complaining as I got out quick. But the mother was actually in favor of my wife leaving me because a married man was sending her money to Tabasco. The mother claimed to be a good Christian. I got lucky and got out of this one with my life.

Back on the saddle and have a great wife now. She is what I was looking for.

Girls raped and fathering kids of their fathers. Young girls are missing and not found. You know all this stuff. So why not be at least honest and up front.

Underage girls being put out for prostitution and told if they did not perform sex acts for money they will kill the family. These are the things that happen in a very poor country. They were just caught in a sting selling sex with underage girls in El Paso that were abducted from Mexico gangs against their will. It is now knocking on the doors of America. Did you watch CNN and the undercover sex stings and see who was mostly coming for these supposed minors for sex. It is getting worse. Unlike your statistics I get these from Mexican newspapers. The problem is much is not reported because the women do not want to loose their bread winner. Another is they fear the police will do even worse if they report them.

It may be all rosy for you but there are a lot of Mexican people suffering, young and old. All you worry about is the tourists safety numbers and nothing about the Mexican people. The people that work for you are working for Slave wages.

I will agree that there are many very dangerous places here in mexico.

But Guadalajara is as safe as San Francisco Ca and I have lived in both cities........

Yes there are places in DF where you would not want to walk at night or even in the day wearing a Rolex but there are places just like that in the SF bay area....

I have made the drive from the border to here on many occasions.....
I love the drive and look for a excuse to do it.
And it is not hard to find someone that wants to bring a car down so I get to do the drive plenty of times..
I cross the border early in the morning and I have never had a problem.
You just order the stick from Banjercito a month early and they mail your permit to your US address...

But back to here..........If you compare this bay there is no safer area with this amount of people anywhere in the USA.....

My wife just told them that the 7 under age minors and other women that were raped in a large Christian youth camp is known as a very safe place. She was shocked when I told her. Many people were beaten and they were all robbed. The ironic thing is that it was not just one offender, but many. I believe a couple of the offenders were even policemen. There are many places in Mexico that were thought to be safe. But they fall one city after another. You just hope it does not happen to your small piece of paradise. If it does I won't get on here and say I told you so. I will just be pissed again that the government is not controlling this and containing the perpetrators.

Have you ever lived in any other countries???
Have you ever been to Rio??
Just head up the hill from Rio and you will think that tepito in DF is a very safe place

Go to the west bank and see what danger is

Yes. I have traveled to many other countries in my life. But it is Mexico that I am concerned about more then any of them. How about Africa. Cities in Mexico are rated as the most dangerous in the world. The crime against the innocents is getting larger and larger and you are seeing more women murdered, and even cut to pieces and left like trash. There is even a video of a woman beheading a man while he is alive here in Mexico. She talks and does it like she is preparing a thanksgiving turkey. No emotion as she asks for instructions as she is doing it. How about all the women disappearing here in Mexico.

I was in Puerto Rico. You want to talk about houses that looked like prisons. Worse then here in Mexico if you can believe that. I have never seen so many police in one area as I did in Puerto Rico.

Mexico is on the edge. Instead of getting better I see it getting worse.

I don't see the same puerto rico nor the same Mexico you see

I would feel far safer in Guadalajara than any place outside a resort in pr

Rated the most dangerous???????
More Americans live here or vacation here with less problems than pr

Yes if Mexico does not make some changes soon things might get worse

It would be simple to solve the problem here but the solution would destroy the USA

for a fee of 100 pesos the Mexican government would give you a seal that you put on a semi trailer that you load with drugs at the southern border and deliver to a secure site on the northern border......
You then use catapults or tunnels and launch crack, heroine and what ever you want across the border..........

Drug war is over here and a rock of crack is a dollar in the USA
A dose of heroine is also a dollar

Drug war is over here..........

Daily Horoscope for May 24

Aquarius

In complete contrast to yesterday, you have your head screwed on firmly today. Yet you won't be boringly sensible or drearily practical, so there's no danger of you having turned into a dry old stick overnight. It's a good day for keeping track of important details and processes, such as confirming a forthcoming appointment or filling in a form and then making a copy of it before sending it off.
