Reports: Russia criticizes EU threats
Russian officials Tuesday criticized the European Union for threatening to postpone talks on a new political and economic partnership deal over the war in Georgia, a news agency reported.
'This political signal is wrong, I would say, incorrect, and it is also addressed to the wrong side,' Russia's EU envoy, Vladimir Chizhov, was quoted as telling Interfax.
EU officials said Monday in Brussels that unless Russian troops pull back from positions in Georgia, talks on a wide-ranging political and economic agreement would be put off. However, the move is widely seen as just a slap-on-the-wrist for Moscow.

Slap on the wrist? If you look really deep, it looks as Russians are controlling this situation, and they're the ones slapping everyone.
They rightfully fought off the Georgians in 20 minutes (American-trained army...oy), and now they're the center of criticism? Its ridiculous, and they're getting more and more pissed about it! |
