Aqua Alta at Venice

Acqua alta is the term used in Veneto for the exceptional tide peaks that occur periodically in the Venetian Lagoon.

Aqua Alta (high water) usually occurs in spring or autumn so I advise to bring waterproof boots. I think it's a great (if somewhat unusual) thing to see.
