Passengers stranded by Failte Travel in Cyprus

More than 130 passengers have been left stranded in Cyprus after Irish tour operator Failte Travel ceased trading with immediate effect.

ARRIVED IN CYPRUS ON 4TH July just heard the news yesterday about Gerry McMahon Tours gone bust no one has got in touch with us and John and I are menth to be traveling back home on Saturday morning so its very worring for us and we have tryed to make contact several times but have been unsusselfull so we are very unhappy here now in Cyprus. Hotel reception should have details of which Local company is the Travel Co.s Ground Agent, If the Tour Company are ATOL or ABTA bonded, alternate arrangements will be made to fly you back, rest assured of that and Try to enjoy the rest of your holiday. Good Luck.
