I never experience blocked internet in hotel rooms and am happy with Chinese service there as I am in China not Australia or US. If not happy as visitor in China, why stay any longer? You obviously like China and all the good things there!

If China is an enemy of tourisim, why does the number of tourists China gets keep on climbing? I guess everyone in the world just have to learn english to serve your need and forget their own langauge. Closed sections of country... might be true twenty years ago but I think I have seen pictures from every province of China. So can I get into area 51 to take a tour in US?

I have been to India many times & I was appalled by what I saw & experienced; the poverty, corruption, caste system, etc. Naked children living in makeshift tents by the road side. If this is the type of prosperity you are trying to make comparison with, you have totally lost me. I wouldn't bother with that. Obviously this is an Indian who is too closed-minded with jealousy of his neighboring prospering nation. There are plenty of exchange and foreign students from India studying in China. they always seem to hook up with Chinese chicks too...wonder how they feel about this?

The rail road connecting Beijing Tibet Nepal is a must to bring about an economic as well as political balance in Nepal. India trying to interfere on this would be futile for itself. But also Nepal India relation is deeper and interconnected than people have talked here and keeping the positive relation will only benefit both. At the other side the Nepalese people have witnessed terrible mistakes by the Chinese in the past in Tibet but also we know they have changed lives and has done great development works in Tibet which Tibetans could hardly do on their own. Nepalese people believe that we can bring harmony in the region by being closer and being positively engaged with the neighbors, not being isolated. Railroad from China is a major step towards that. Nepal is in the worst situation now and as good neighbors China and India should help on at lest humanitarian basis, or at least not interfere.

It's what keeps ignorant savages huddled around the fire. All those dragons and ghosts out there. What do you call it when a group is griped by fear of nothing at all? Idiocy?

EX-Kabeer wrote: Have you heard of Chinese policy called "Palm and five fingers"? The Palm is Tibet and fingers are Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Indian North East and Ladakh. It knows that it can not gobble up Sikkim, Indian North East and Ladakh as they are part of Indian territory and are well protected. Even Bhutan is well protected by Indian Army so the only state that is vulnerable to capture by China is Nepal. If nepalese don't learn from fate on Tibetan, we will see nepalese begging for chinese mercy within 2 decades from now. Wake up. Seriously, does every India think China wants its land? The truth is China could careless about India. Give it a rest and worry about someone else, like your neighbors for god sake. India seriously have bigger problems they should be worrying about. Invading India is like the last thing on China's mind because there really isn't any benefit in taking those land right now in terms of land usage. Btw, only idiots (which are the majority of Indian it seems on the defense forums) would think that China is invading India through the Himalayas if it is going to invade at all. So the train really have no significance militarily value.
