How Mehta dreamt up the first sugar empire in Uganda

Below: Men arrange bags of sugar at an unidentified location in Uganda. The first sugar factory was put up by Mehta in 1924 in Lugazi.

Thats part of the British Raj. The sun never set on British Empire. Indians work the sugar cane fields. Process the cane to sugar, which was the shipped to Britian.
