It isn't as if they tried to get the law CHANGED BEFORE THEY BROKE IT. They BROKE THE LAW and are now whining. Why isn't Oregon a law and order state? Good question. Why va-cay in a place without justice? Try Detroit instead. I hear San Diego is pretty hot these days. With Bush's economy in the tank, anyplace is dying for business.

Oregon attorney slaps cop with illegal parking complaint
An attorney who watched a police officer park illegally in front of a restaurant, then wait around while his meal was prepared, issued the officer a series of citizen-initiated violations.

The other day I received the following email in response to having a page stating that Portland Oregon Sucks. I especially love how so many people won't address any of the things I mentioned, instead they like to try and personally attack me instead.

That was from the Portland, Oregon sucks page on knick-knack. This kind of response is typical of how Oregonians think.

They will smile at you and then rob you blind while stabbing you in the back. When found out, they whine, moan and refuse to take any responsibility.

Oregonians make lousy employees, employers, colleagues, etc.

This is Oregon.

String of Neo-Nazi Related Incidents Reported
Within the past week, Tigard Police have documented six incidents of alleged Neo-Nazi related acts within the City of Tigard. The first series of reported incidents began on February 26th when a citizen reported a large red flag with a Swastika that was tethered to a utility pole along Highway 217 near 72nd Ave. Tigard Police were able to remove the flag that had a red helium balloon attached. Another similar incident occurred two days later when a citizen reported a large flag with a Swastika attached to a utility pole along Highway 217 near I-5. With the assistance of a TVF&R ladder truck, the flag was successfully removed. Later that day a citizen reported a similar flag flying from the roof of a convenience store located along Pacific Highway near 74th Ave.

More recently over the past 4 days, residents have reported their neighborhoods were scattered with anti-Semitism printed material. This occurred in an area south of Durham Rd near 98th and in an area along Derry Dell Ct. In both situations, Tigard Police collected all the littered leaflets that were scattered along the streets. Also believed to be related was another flag with a Swastika discovered flying above a vacant business located at 13500 SW Pacific Highway. Police were able to remove the flag which was likely thrown atop of the structure. An anti-Semitic leaflet was attached to the flag which was weighted with a bottle filled with liquid.

At this time, the reported incidents have been documented and police continue to monitor the activity. There are no suspects. Also important to know, it appears that no one in particular has been the target of the bias printed materials but rather the incidents appear to be random displays for the public. In Oregon, all bias related incidents are reported to the State agency responsible for collecting criminal data.

Portland police are looking into a rush hour spectacle this morning near the Fremont Bridge.

A balloon with a Nazi flag bearing a swastika was floating next to the bridge, and it took police about an hour to get it down. Authorities believe it may be connected to recent incidents in the Tigard area where similar flags and fliers have been seen.

Sgt. Brian Schmautz, spokesman for the Portland Police Bureau, said the roughly 4-foot balloon with a large red and white flag was tied to a line that was connected to a rock as an anchor. Someone either dropped the rock into the Willamette River from the bridge or used a boat to place it in the water, Schmautz said.

The balloon and flag had floated up next to the bridge and was seen by hundreds of motorists during rush hour.

Schmautz said police kept the balloon and flag, took photographs of it and likely will store it in the bureau's evidence storage area. But he said that given free speech issues, it'd be difficult to charge someone with a crime.

"This one has one foot in the free speech world and one foot in the stupid world," Schmautz said.

Earlier this week, police in Tigard were looking into similar incidents after red flags with swastikas were seen flying from utility poles along Oregon 217, on Southwest Hall Boulevard and along Oregon 99W.

In addition, anti-Semitic fliers purporting to be from "National Socialist Workers" have been left at homes on Southwest Woodcrest Avenue. Dozens more fliers with large black swastikas were found thrown in the street.

The first flag was found Feb. 26, flying from a utility pole along Oregon 217 near the 72nd Avenue exit. A red helium balloon and fishing line was used to put the flag aloft.

Similar flag-and-balloon arrangements were found Feb. 28 on Oregon 217 near the Interstate 5 junction and on Hall Boulevard near 99W. Meanwhile, the fliers were found Sunday, and another flag was found flying Monday from a vacant building that formerly housed a grocery market.

It is August. It is alternately boiling (and muggy) and freezing (and damp).

It is grey, gloomy and muddy.

Big surprise. It was also like this in June.

Oregon: rain, mugginess and lousy weather 11 months out of the year.

Oregon is also incredibly NOISY. The traffic in Oregon is horrific. Oregon has zero city planning that is remotely competent so the qualify of life in Oregon is NEGATIVE 500....on a scale of 1 to 10.

Oregon is such a miserable mess and there is no hope of improvement.

Any place by the sea is a winner with me, but I tend to favor Newport, Oregon. South Beach is awesome! I also like the beaches near Brookings, too. As for California, I love Malibu. Zuma gets a bit crazy in the summer, but any of the beaches off season are wonderful. I've lucked out with finding really nice shells there.

Like I said, if you hate Oregon so much, why don't you find somewhere else to live? No one would miss you here, trust me on that one!

Sir (or Ma'am?), this person is just an attention horr...pay no heed. Not worth the effort.

Oregon = the worst state in the Union with the worst people ever.

Note how openly nasty and hostile Oregonians are. Normal people don't give a hoot what other people's opinions are.

Oregonians OTOH, are simply small-minded little nasties who have so little feeling of self-worth that they attack anyone who may hurt their feelings...can you imagine living next to this garbage?
