i've been in that store almost everyday for the last 3 yrs. they do not have an american flag but they've painted their business to reflect the culture that surrounds it. they are int he store from open till close BOTH OF THEM and are VERY polite and my boyfriend and me are allowed credit because we are good customers. they are always watching tv or sitting outside enjoying the weather. they do speak english im not sure if they speak fluently but they speak enough to carry on a convorsation. i dotn know what my opinion is i whole heartedly believe that the same rules go for everyone just because we like someone or feel bad doesnt mean we can change the laws. they're good people that dont cost me nothing and i like they're store i wish they could say but if the law says they can't then thats what it is

enough attacks on people who post a comment u may or may not agree with.. the purpose of a forum or blog is to give an opinion. rather all agree or not is not the issue at hand.
I will say I do not believe that this 68 yr old man should be deported after 20 yrs but I do have one issue with him that I am sure none of u will argue with.
IF U LIVE IN THE USA FOR THAT AMOUNT OF TIME AND STILL NEED A TRANSLATOR THAT IS A PROBLEM..
speak they dang language.. I don't care if u can speak ur country's lang. but when I go to a store, order out, try to pay a bill, get a phone call from a salesperson and I can not understand when u say ur own name or business..u have an issue and need to go to an english speaking class..
If u want to be an american than be one its a free country but the USA national lang. is english therefore learn it..

I can't get over what a bunch of ignorant slobs some of you freaking yahoos are. These people have served the good people of Buffalo for 20 years working 15+ hour days. There's nothing illegal about staying here on a visa pending an application for refugee status. They do speak English but if a person is more comfortable speaking in his mother tongue, then isn't it his right to? Isn't that what makes this country great? All I've heard is how they don't speak English. All I've heard is how it's people like this who are taking away American jobs. The fact that this man worked his ass off and put his every penny he had into his grocery store 20 years ago, has nothing to do with why people of this country are out of work. It's called a good work ethic. Maybe some of you people should get one. Do you people have no compassion? Not to mention that their marriage is a symbol of what people can be capable of: A Muslim and a Jew fleeing a country that would have the both of them stoned, in search of a better life. Some of you people make me sick.

yes. Let EVERYONE stay in this country. Who cares if they are legal, speak english or run illegal businesses. A muslim married a jew. WHO CARES!
