Buddy passes can leave you stranded if you're unprepared
When the plane takes off, will you be on it? If you travel with a buddy pass, you aren't guaranteed the flight you want.

2 Actually, it's one of the fine "benefits" offered by the pathetic airline industry to attract employees. Let me figure it out, less pay for a crappy benefit, no thanks, keep the buddy (who won't be your buddy anymore after sitting at the airport all day) pass, give me "mo money" |

D3s should never fly standby to Europe during June,July,and August.
I don't even fly during those months. But any other time of year I fly to Rome or Switzerland just on weekends with no problems. |

Also, since you are almost guaranteed a middle seat between two overly large people and most usually just in front or aft of a screaming or chair kicking baby, while traveling on a buddy pass
..... the only way to survive this on a routine basis is with alcohol. Or zanex but not mixed with ambien. |
