The same story, the same slamming of cops (although you are the one with the record) the attack on Disney. It's all the same, all the time. No your wrong. And really I don't care what you say! And as far as cops go I believe in Washington Dc area just recently cops broke into the Mayors house and shot two pets and terrorized the family? Oh wait no warrent for this crime? And as far as Disney goes maybe you need to read all the postings when Disneys name pops up? And as far as cops go Just put Bearys name or Politicians name in a forum and read what people say? Also in the forum is a story about a Orange County Deputy who has been molesting a child for 10 years?? Say What about this guy Ron? And isn't the Sheriff still under investigation in Orange County Florida? When is his hearing? Oh wait what about the Orlando Cop pushing a women in the back while going down some stairs? How about the 7 Orange County Deputies who got suspended because of filing false police reports? How about the Orange County Deputy who was sending his naked body over the internet using taxpayers equipment and while on duty? And what about all the drugs and crime at Pleasure Island? Don't come in here with your lies about Ron. And how about the cop in Seminole County planting a pipe bomb in some young boys garage? What about the cops in New York beating a mans legs like a idiot while the other cop held him to the ground? How about the cop in Ohio kicking a women on the ground and tasing her while she was in cuffs? How about the cop in South Florida punching a 15 year old black girl in the face? How about this cop Peterson who's wife is still missing up North? Just how crooked are cops? Leave Ron alone and go after the bad people who collect your tax dollars and commit crimes!

Oh and when you get time go in to the forum and read about Republican Ric Keller . Keller is saying something about another person being a drunk? Take a look and see what people are saying about him? Also go back and read what people have said about Sheriff Kevin Beary? Compared to what I have read this guy Ron is a nice person. I have copies of all these forums. It seems the Sheriff and his Deputies are not very popular in Orange County Florida? Hum ! Even the local newspaper has no respect for Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary? So I guess this guy Ron doesn't stand alone when it come to telling the truth about corruption in law enforcement in Orange County Florida? You need to get a check up from the neck up o2bndisney ? 1608

This is sad news. Several times venturing to WDW from California, part of our itinerary has always included Pleasure Island for 8 trax and Motions (any day) and Mannequins on Thursday night. To be honest, I don't know if there will be a reason in the future to go to Pleasure Island now. It'll be interesting to see what will show up there in place of the clubs. Shops and restaurants - if you want that you go to Downtown Disney. Is this going to turn into an extention of Downtown Disney or DD2. Not thanks. The dancing at these clubs was part of our annual (sometimes twice annual) WDW adventure.

Well, its sad to see it go in September, but there is a new lounge on Disney property. It's called Rix Lounge located in the Coronado Springs , i've been there a few times and everytime I have gone it's been great. It's actually one of the best looking lounges in Orlando. I'll be still sad Pleasure I is closing, but Rix is a great alternative.

There were WAY to many blacks there. After 7p it was like a ghetto? Good riddiance to all the ghetto bunnies. They can party in their own slums like Eatonville.

I guess ther was way to many ricans too But the never seem to bother me in the clubs they should never opened the street to the public same thing happened to mercado and point orlando it you charge admission to the whole thing including the outside common areas that will keep the ricans and the'n's out they are not interested in paying for anything P.I. was succsesful for many years doing this I just wonder where all the gays and halloween people are going to go now its a dam shame disney let this state of the art complex go downhill. I was hoping some private company would buy it and operate it at the last minute ,well see

The Pleasure Island nightclubs were a part of my life. I am from Miami and every year when I visited Disney, I looked forward to hanging at Mannequins with my friends. I was surprised and ver happy that Disney was astute enought to realize that everyone who visits isn't 'Disney Family Wholesome'. The clubs were big, safe, a good value, free parking and lots of security. And the '70's club started out being a new wave/alternative club playing Crystal Waters and that type of music which was very new age for the day. It feels like the end of an era and I'm sending this article to all of my friends who use to go there with me. Maybe we will have our last hurrah before they close. Gonna miss it!

This kind of cracks my crystal. I understand the wanting to be family friendly and all, but what if you go to WDW with your sweetheart, and you and said sweetheart want to go for a romantic night of dancing at a disco? Well, Sparky, there ARE no more discos -- they've all been replaced with clothing outlets and fast-food companies, so I guess you and your sweetheart are sworded!

Pleasure Island is/was a really fun place for families with older "children" to go as well as a great place for Disney Cast Members to hang out after putting in their time working at the parks. I know a lot of Cast Members hop into a cab together and head over to PI, it is close and affordable for them. Now getting to City Walk (what a dive) will be harder for them and a lot less safe. But then again more and more it seems that the powers that be who are making the decisions at Disney are not thinking about their Cast Members or local residents. They are only thinking of shoving the same exact merchandise into a million different locations. Just incase you missed buying your Hanna Montana play microphone set at the last 45 identicle Disney shops you have trugged through, never fear, you can get it at the store right next to it and the next and the next! Yippee! Disney are you even listening to the moans and groans of your guests? They are tired of seeing the same stuff over and over again. It makes everything less special, less "magical". People are getting fed up with having the same merchanidise shoved down their throats. It's like walking in circles through Walmart all day long. Disney is not making very many people happy with these bad decisions, but I don't think they really care about that.

Oh and what's next, Epcot? I wouldn't really call epcot after dark "family friendly" either. Plus, if they close Epcot down they can have even more shops!!! And then they could illuminate the floating globe at night with Hanna Montana and High School Musical!!!
Oh my gosh I am brilliant! Disney should hire me!!
