Philippines protests alleged racial slur in BBC comedy show

Protest? why bother to protest, When other country look at filipinos nothing but slaves! and do anything to make money because their government are selling them to the highest bidder. Whatever the filipinos are getting you all deserve it.

The world is full of racists but Filipinos, and in this case, Blacks are all have onion skins. They can make fun of all kinds of people such as caucasians but they cannot be made fun of. Like the Pinoys, they always make fun of the "whites" and they call them "anak-araw". JUst...just take it as a joke, people. what you can do is to get back to them!!

it is not a "slur" as it is true. You can order Filipino girls, they send 4 and you send back the ones you don´t want, or have a special "2 for the price of One" offer. Some people in wales have about 5 now. They are a bargain!

Racist or not, the whole joke was in bad taste and a slam against women. Jokes can be funny without having to slam race creed or gender. You just have to be smart enough to think of one.

These "protesters" are over reacting a bit don't you think? I mean c'mon, filipinos are guilty of stereotyping too you know...Everytime you see a t.v show portraying filipinos in a bad way, these "protesters" gets all touchy and whiny about it cos it made them look bad on t.v. We see all kinds of racial jokes on t.v and the fact is, we just couldn't stop em. So stop acting like beat out kids and take it as a joke. I'm filipino btw.

you are exactly correct there. That's the truth and nothing but the truth. why deny the truth? Filipinos are treated badly everywhere. even here in australia, philippines and filipinos are considered low-class asians. in australia, you must learn how to pretend not to be a filipino to save your dignity. many filipinos here declare themselves as "malaysians" singaporeans, thai, japanese guamanian or hawaiians. i know a spanish-speaking filipino who is eurasian but born, raised educated in manila and migrated here in the late 1990s. That filipino is telling everyone "I am from puerto rico or chile". shocking huh
