Wowsa, I agreed civil war 1960-1975, and from 1979-to 1998..was a war between his hands and playboy megazine...hahahahahahahahah. This kid is so dumb...perhaps he got the genses from Hun Sen....Duh! wowsa wrote: <quoted text> No wonder youR mine is so wrapped with hate toward the overseas. Because you don't want to open yourself up to learning another language. Do you know that it'll do you good if you stop sticking your head in the crap hole? But you must've love the smell of it. Enjoy. <quoted text> You just put yourself to shame. The civil war was between 1975-1979 puss-head. In 1979-1998 was when the KR surrendered themselves and scattered all over the place, mostly to Pailin where they hide from public. In 1998 was when they installed your master Hun Sen. What did we do? Well, being infants and toddlers at the time I would say not much. It was our mothers and grandparents that tried to save us all from getting killed by the KR regime. So your accusation is weak. Why would we want to do anythig for your ungrateful leader and you? Even if you beg we wouldn't give shiiite to you. <quoted text> Really? Building the country with one hand and fight the KR with another? I thought KR had died down already. Unless there's some hidden activity we don't know of?(wink wink)

I don't like current the government but it is moving in the right direction. The economics growth have been over 10% for the last 4 years. The investment from China and S. Korea were enoumous. The country is in a better shape then it ever was in the last 35 years. Now the investment from the middle eastern countries are pouring in as well. The country has open up its real estate market to foreign investors.
What I'm saying is that the country is not at a western standard that most of you have accustomed to but it is moving slowly in the right direction.
With the implementation of new laws in the coming years, this country is a heaven for investors.
PS. Can anyone of you tell me a country that doesn't have corruptions.

Hi Alex in big Tex, Firstly, I like to tell U that I love a hybrid steaks in Texas MEANING a bombo between Mexican origin and Texain American. Secondly, Oh, Mother Teresa.....why Texaian women are so so so beautiful....Just thinking about them...makes me thinking of my mating season already....! hahahahah Well, all the nations on earth have some forms of corruption....,but that is NOT the core issue here....ALL HUMAN BEINGS ARE NOT PERFECT..., AND THEY NEVER WILL BE...BUT THE MAJORITY OF HUMAN BEINGS ARE WILLING TO LEARN FROM THEIR MISTAKES...DON'T U AGREE? IT IS NOT A CORRUPTION ALONE THAT DRIVE CAMBODIA BACKWARD. IT IS THE ELEMENTS MANY....IN WHICH HUN SEN AND HIS GOVERNMENT ARE INCOMPETENT OF.... The USA too,...has some forms of corruption, but her citizens are willing to extra....to make certain a check and balance apply to her Government...AS SUPPOSE TO CAMBODIA,...THERE IS PATTERNS OF ONE AND ONE THING ONLY....INCOMPETENT LEADERS....IF YOU ARE INCOMPETENT THAT SOMETHING ELSE WILL FOLLOW..... OK!so go ask hun to and hun chea they will answer your questions!Corruptions is everywhere ,i agree but in cambodia is not corruptions it is about the injustices of the law against poor people!the rich have every rights to do everything they want and the poor just suffers! In cambodia it is about who you know and who you are !So if you are the nephews of the samdach hun sen and co you have the right to stab innocent japanese tourist and shoot young cambodians in night club like in lonesome dove texas, and nobody go to jail!so yes the country seem to be stable but its just an illusions!Because this wild capitalism will kill all the small business of the poor people! We are in 2008 and its a shame to see that khmer people ,poor have nothingto eat except rats!I dont call progress!the money go to the pocket of the people in power!not to the khmer people!

Hi Alex in big Tex, Please read Peter K's comments about Cambodia dilemmas..... The poor citizens of Cambodia are in a helpless situation. There will never be a middle class in this Country and educating the general population is not on the agenda. Not now, not ever under the current political regimes. International aid is embezzled, poor Farmers land stolen, natural resources hoarded in secret Goverment deals, completley raping there enviroment, etc, etc, etc. The only hope for the ordinary Cambodian People is just let China take the whole Country over. A all out revolution would be a futile suicide attempt by the People. Not to say it won't happen. Bet on it. The people have no hope here and once they completley degrade their enviroment ( not many Years away) even the tourists will bypass this hell hole. Figure one oil spill away in the Gulf of Thailand. PS - See you later Thailand too once this happens. PS #2 - Keep building all them hotels by them temples so they can sink into the ground faster. Cambodia is in a transition period right now. You will find the good, the bad and the ugly. However, as long as he is willing to improve the country and open up for new ideas its a start. The Cambodian people have re-elected him in a landslide. They rather have stability then uncertainty of a new leader.
Maybe someday I will visit Ankor Watt to help out the tourist industry.
I heard they're using US currency for most transactions.
Maybe some of you should do the same. Put your money where your mouth is. Help out the poor country instead of attacking it.
