Further evidence that the TSA has absolutely no clue on security. Anyone shocked to see that the inspector can't read the "NO STEP" sign?

And this inspector is qualified to inspect aircraft??? How does he know what he is looking at if he does not know where he can safely step on an aircraft???

What's a TSA officer inspecting aircraft for anyways? I highly doubt this is proper procedure authorized by the FAA. It's up to the operator, maintenance, and ground crew which have been properly trained to inspect aircraft components for tampering and proper operation.
Ultimately it's up to the pilot in command of the aircraft to give the final go/no go decision. Any decent pilot does a very thorough inspection before the first flight of the day. |

I hope the TSA ie, Thousands Standing Around are billed for the inspections and lost revenue. What abunch of idiots. You can see for yourself on the Blue Line. They are asleep, listening to Ipods or yapping like hyenas. A waste of taxpayer money.

Responsible enough to enusre aircraft aren't tampered with, but not responsible enough to read and obey. This guy sounds like one of those VACATIONING congressmen.

Wonderful. Our safety is in the hands of a "do nothing" organization so top heavy that Pam Anderson looke petite next to it, and one of their "geniuses" can't even read, to the tune of about a half a million $ in lost flight revenue.
We shouldn't worry about airports or airplanes blowing up, we should worry about the TSA not blowing something up itself. What a bunch of incompetents. And I swear, If I end up on the do-not-fly list for stating this opinion, then the terrorists have won. I'm John Elert and fed up with do-nothings earing federal pensions. |
