Turkish nation will never let anyone insult -or even imply of an insult- their hero anywhere.
That hero is Mustafa Kemal Atatürk who defended against tens of invador nations and built a free, honored republic.
We are everywhere to defend his legendary memory.

I thought turks were free. If turkey is free, why cant you say anything you want about whomever you want? I know the history of Ataturk and understand why you love him so. But not everyone agres i guess.

"Freedom ends when you insult someone a nation respect"

Could praising hitler considered as freedom in europe?it is somethink like that.So freedom does not imply saying whatever you think. The criter is "respect".Critisizin g and insulting are different things.Dont mix them.

Hello darlings the first step to freedom and democracy is being able to take the piss out of your heroes. Then it includes
Freedom of press
freedom of speech
freedom to choose
freedom of religion

some basic human rights, thats what sets countries apart. Thats why we have so many migrants from the eastwanting to live in western countries.
I think you guys are still a little backwards and oppressed and obviously don't have many national heroes.
The road to freedom and democracy is long but one worth travelling.

you are not lier but misinformed..i wont judge you on this your new religion; its the things imposed on you. naively beleiving that that will cure everything...

fist step to freedom and democracy is having economic freedom...
if you have power you are free if you dont have you are slave; that is so obvious.
pissing out of heroes means nothings...here even we have a anarchic society...changes nothing.

you are repeating what ever your misirable monkey bush repeats on tv...which is totally bulshit just like he.
the only thing controls these propaganda machines press, non governmental organizations and religion is capital...you only can refer either freedom of capital or freedom of these propaganda machines from capital...albeit you are refering to freedom of these tools to be owned by monkey bush lovers..such as murdoch cartel...then be happy they got it also here....we have all the same shit on media like in your country...opressive russian regime, opressive chiniese regime...then put in mind growth for the sake growth is something cancerious as in the case of so called freedom fighters...

that we want our money back...then we will be happy

you disgusting insects sure will try to invade and make shit out of it as in the case of iraq with the pritex of this stupid court decision if it was not so funny..and you moron learn that iranians have much more intellectuals and artists then you have , contrary to your and our censored media presentations, and;
in terms of backwardness our most backward people are the ones who beleives in your lies...even the peasants living in our high mountains are more helpfull for humanity then you are at least they dont destroy the nature but help...

Well, I guess we are all oppressed in our own ways. We are watched with certain things we do and I dont think its right for the US to push our laws on a citizen that is visiting another country. As long as they are obeying the law of that particular country. But at least we can walk down the street or post on the internet and say our president is stupid and not have to worry about getting punished.

i meant opression of our soul...that makes difference...these formal details is not my business...and always these things are dirty business never can be cleaned...any formal informal authority has his ways of opression if it is weak one it seems to be more apparent but less harmfull...
by the way if we indicate badness of something and he does not care about it then we have bigger problem...all we have long way

Its no suprize really... whoever has looked into Turkish history will find that the nation is built upon nationalism, they need it and thats the reason their government fully supports it.
IF these people actually gave a f@ck about protecting the memory of those that either did or tried to give something to them, the first thing they'd do was demand that the b@stards that are uploading videos in youtube which celebrate the murderer of Hrant Dink were punished..
But thats the problem, they want, need and intentionally cultivate b@astards like Ogun Samast. They promote the idea of his being deemed a hero !!!

So you've never heard of it.. OK. while I honestly find it really hard to believe, do watch this youtube video and tell me if that b@stard isn't celebrating the murderer as a hero

http://www.youtube.com/watch...

I won'teven get into debating the song with the well known saying used as a chorus :
how proud it is to be a Turk

But claiming that I push them to act in this despicable manner in an attempt to avoid condemning this subhuman b@stard is at least rediculous..

Don't get me started on how they feed you people these ideas, cause I can discuss your schoolbooks, monuments..etc

You just can't see that you should make it your buisness..
IF you and the rest of the Turks that avoid condemning such !diots, actually raised your voice against this and similar events, you'd actually make a step towards the right direction.

But you are a fine example of the problem, from not knowing and then rediculously blaming me for this a$$hole's non-existant education and moral values, you now avoid discussing it simply because you fear condemning this event..
