for "Black" dolls, they have rather pink skin. They should look like Whoopsy Goldberg. Have the race experts decided if this is "racist" or not? I think showing obviously Hispanic looking dolls as "Blacks" is very offensive.

most Black barbies are very dark, this one is average brown skin. black comes in different colors, plus most AKAs are light, SO GET OVER IT!!

this is true, some are darker than others. Quite honestly more are lighter these days unless you are talking the collector lines. Those have varying degrees of color for skin tones because basically the costs are there to afford more time in the creation. A collector can run any where new from $20-$300 (or more).

The dolls you pick up at Walmart have less cost margin and there is less variety.

I'm a Delta, and I really like the doll. It's a fine way to help commemorate 100 years of great service and sisterhood for my fellow greeks.
However I just had to LOL at some of the comments about hair and skin color. just funny.
If we (Deltas) have a doll formed to represent us, it's gotta have some kind of natural hair though!!! LOL

The dolls should be more diverse. How about different black dolls depending on choice like u can buy ones with nappy hair, locks, afros braids etc why is it only ones that look like beyounce and latino r on the market? Answer the CEO of the company is not a black man or black owned..
