Jury awards Mattel $40 million in Bratz lawsuit

My daughters aren't allowed within 100 yards of anything that has BRATZ written on it.

Bratz dolls look nothing like Barbies but Mattel wants a monopoly on the market. Never mind that Mattel has made billions off the Barbie name. They saved money by putting lead in toys even though it is harmful to humans and now that toy sales are down significantly because of their greed and indifference, they needed a cash cow. That's where Bratz came into the picture.

Either the jury is deaf dumb and blind or I guess there are 12 people who are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay richer now than they were before the trial started.

It's kind of funny if you think about it. The rich, pretty, white, blond with the better lawyers beat out the dark haired, dark skinned, ethnic minority with the public defender.

Justice? Nope. Just 'business as usual'.

You will NEVER see a Barbie in my house nor are they purchased as gifts. I think girls should strive to be intelligent, successful and independent unlike Barbie who only cares about being pretty, is uneducated, unemployed and hopes that Ken will take good care of her until she dies. God, let it be SOON!!!!!

Bratz should pay 1Billion the owner of Bratz was dishonest proven and the jury saw this.

Without a dout because I personal know Mr Larin of Bratz is a person who does not respect , honrst busness he should pay Mattel 2 Billion ,and set an example not to steal ideas and people.

Mattel paid off the judge and the jury, I guess the WASP doll company needed the money more than the minority doll company. How American.
