Interestin subject, though: How young is TOO young?
Assuming the guy was mature enough and knowledgable enough about the times so you could have meaningfull discussions, how young would you go? Would it matter what others thought? What if you set your "limit" in your mind but then meet someone 5 years younger than that, but they seem PERFECT in every other way?

I'm so sorry to hear that... I know you've mentioned that stuff before but it just makes me BURN when I hear that kind of thing! I want to kick some parent-ass!! You have done remarkably well all things considered.
That you are able to engage in counseling a child rather than repeat the same cycle says Volumes about your character! That's a good practice, too... I have been amazed at how much even a very young child can understand when approached this way. And ending with a hug... always a good ending!
