God vs Science wrote: <quoted text> Hippa, Mary is equal to everyone else. Mary has no special blessings or power to intercede on behalf of people. As a matter of fact, Mary now resides in the grave with all those who have died and awaits the awakening when Jesus returns. Mary is not Queen of Heaven and is not even in Heaven, only the Son (Jesus) who sits at the right hand of God. And he intercedes on behalf of us! Peace! Where is THAT in the Bible? Never mind, I know where you will go. I believe in a particular judgement and a final judgement. Where did you get this opinion. From your tradition?

christian rabbi wrote: <quoted text>you are correct. Jesus NEVER gave Peter control over the Born Again Believer. Jesus is OUR LORD AND MASTER. But He did give Peter the authority to Preach the Gospel. that is all that Jesus gave Him. thanks for finally realizing that. I sure wish you could read CR. Just read that scripture again and leave out your pre=taught (that is traditional small t) filters. Just read it and tell us what its says please. Don't leave out the binding and loosing. Use a dictionary if you need to. It's important.

If you are a sports fan, then you know the game last night between the Red Sox and the Rays lasted until 1:00 or so. and sionce that game was on, I missed the Boxing match between Carver and Dawson and I watched it on SHO until 1:30.. so If you take those times and the 15 minutes or so in which I took a Shower. then you can figure out my bedtime. and My schedule is of no concern to anyone, but the lies people like you tell is! as I ahve said many times, topix is great to expose catholic lies, since I didnt post at 3:00 like you lied and said I did According to my clock, you're a liar. Your last post when I signed on said it was 9 hours ahead of the time I signed on which made it 3 am in the morning. I disagree, your schedule is of the utmost importance to prove what a deceiver you really are.

God vs Science wrote: <quoted text> When they teach that Mary is the Queen of Heaven which she is not. Mary is still in the grave and is not in Heaven. Peace! GvS, What exactly do you think "salvation" is? Where Jesus has gone, Mary hoped to follow. Where they both are I hope to follow by the grace and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ. Where is your hope?

I beleive you should look at your Bible and find any verses that indicate that Mary was chosen by God to intervene for mankind, that she is to be worshipped as some of your popes have taught(which they now regret while in the bowels of hell) which is false.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is going to judge you on how you have talked so callously to His faithful servants. I need to direct you to many verses in the Bible that you have deliberately ignored. Those on charity, those on love, and those on not provoking others to wrath. You lack charity, love and you deliberately try to provoke Catholics to wrath. Proving that Bible literalists only choose to take some parts of the Bible literally.

It's important. what do you wish for me to read in that verse? if you assume that Key is the key to open the door into heaven, You dont know God or His words. for Revelation 21:25 states plainly that the gates of it(that Holy City) shall not be shut at all by day, for there shall be no night there. that verse is a clear indication that Peter has no Key to open those gates, since the gates are open. and a key is not needed to close heaven, since there is only one way to go there. AND THAT IS BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB. RATHER THAN WORRYING ABOUT ME READING SOMETHING THAT ISNT THERE, you need to worry about your soul since you are wasting this opportunity for you to come to know the Lord

juliettelewis wrote: <quoted text> Why is that? How can you judge my faith simply because of words I wrote, because I used my own words instead of quoting the bible like everyone else is doing? I did not judge your faith. I simply stated that what you stated to be your "beliefs" does not square with what Jesus taught. Read your own post in light of His teaching and it becomes self-evident.

" so that leads me to believe they talk to each other, but that is no indication that they intercede for us, ""since that is the doctrine of your false irreligious system.""" SO.... It must be wrong because it is what you were told Catholics are taught and believe. I believe I will quit wasting my time with you. I thought we could have an honest discussion, but your hate and prejudice make this impossible. Keeping on scoring points funny boy. I will pray for your soul. You and GvS must be up about a million points on us heathens by now. If the Bible is your only hope, you boys better learn how to read.

The Holy Spirit continues to teach His Church all things that He has taught His diciples and left to us in Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scripture. The Word of God is not dried up ink on paper. There is partial truth to what your saying. There are two different meanings to word or Word. Yes, Jesus is the Word (upper case)John 1:-/ then you have the word(lower case) Proverbs 30:5, 2Timothy 3:16 the parallel is Scripture. So this needs to be understood in "context". Tradition is not on par with Scripture and if it were then God would have told us in (2Timothy 3:16) & (Matthew 4:4) that we are to live on every word(in this case not "the Word") that comes from the mouth of God. What are the "words" that come from the mouth of God? Scripture. In Mark 7:6-9 it is clear that Jesus warns us of traditions of men when it comes to nullifying God's word- v.13. Please examine these passages closely. If you can refute what I'm saying please use the Bible. I mean no disrespect but want to give clear Biblical examples. God bless you.

LIAR, LIAR!!! YOU CATHOLICS GET CAUGHT IN YOUR LIES AND WISH TO CONTINUE IN THEM. LYING IS BREAKING ONE COMMANDMENT, BEARING FALSE WITNESS IS ANOTHER. so that is two you have broke on the Lords Day. you cant argue with the clock of topix, NOR CAN YOU ARGUE WITH GOD

The Bible clearly states that Jesus was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world; which is clearly before the BV Mary was conceived. If Mary was without original sin then why does she need a Savior. Saved from what? think logically here; saved from what? Mary herself understood this fact, as she declared in Luke 1:47,“... and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior...”
