“Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.”(Mat. 7:1-5)
thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?”(Rom. 1:29-2:3)
that is exactly what I told him.

glad to see you are on the ball.

he seems to think that a person cant judge even though God has appointed Judges to Protect His Word and His People.

I posted the scriptures that showed that a Christian can, will, and should judge the fruits.
I judged you'rs by saying that was not Christ like to cuss.
when the Bible is posted and you disagree, it is with it not the person who posts it.
and that is another judgement that I just gave you!
are you and ken the same, you both are posting from the same ip?
You shouldn't do a lot of things either but you do.

By the way what's an ip? No we are not the same; don't let your mind get away from you. Ken is from the same town as I live in, he's the reason I'm on this thread; you will probably see more people from Erie joining in in the future. We both share the same religious beliefs but his beliefs are a lot stronger, he's more at peace with himself. I'm similar to you and am more harsh with my words as you are; the difference between me and you is that I speak truth with my harshness to help, you on the other hand think you speak truth to be vengeful and spiteful; your words speak for them self with no understanding of another's religion. I can see sometimes love coming from your words but then all of a sudden love and understanding leave your words and then you seem to invite the devil, I have done the same. I guess you and I could learn something from each other, "how to treat other's with love, understanding, forgiveness and respect".

My words are not harsh, but they are blunt.

I try and help those who wish help, but to those who wish to pervert the Word of God, you will find in me a formidable foe.

BTW, you will not find me getting angry and losing my cool.

I agree and I noticed that a lot of people here think that truth is relative, that there's no absolute truth, and that's a sign of the times I guess, where we tend to accommodate and please everyone so nobody gets their feeling hurt.

You don't try to help other's, you say things to make yourself feel good about yourself (selfish).
I do the same, and there's the difference I don't deny it, you do (I'm honest about it, you hide behind a religious facade), and that makes us both sinners but I'm truthful about it, I'm a sinner. You only think you are a formidable foe because you have to tell and try and convince yourself and other's you are a formidable foe as well as not being a sinner...instead of speaking in a loving, compassionate and understanding way; you only lie to yourself, and other's see it but may not want to tell you; I can identify and be truthful about it and you lie about it. God will judge us both for it, and only He will decide our eternal fate.

Sorry, that doesn't work, I quit drinking a long time ago. I'm still working on being a better Christian (I have a long way to go) and your still working on being a whatever it is you think you are working on. I'm getting down off my pedestal now and go to work for my own salvation, good luck with yours. LOL

CeNedra,
This has nothing to do with religious beliefs. I'm sure if I looked, I could find a picture with a snake. Just because the cite you provide has no snake does not mean there was none. I know I saw a snake as well, because I actually thought the image was pretty and opened it up in a different tab. Seems like your looking for a reason to be turned off by fundamentalists. I agree that no one should (or can) force their beliefs on another person. But you're confusing two things here. And I don't want to call you a liar because I like to think the best of people. But I do know what I saw, and to allow another's character to be tarnished because of this really isn't right.
I also opened it up and I KNOW that what looked like a snake when it was small, was actually a leaf. I too thought it was pretty and saved it on my hard drive, as well as the larger original that I came across later. I can not fiure out why this argument is still going on but I will stand up for CeNedra because I know the truth, and I know the background behind the name. Ce'Nedra is the name of a dryad, A TREE NYMPH, in a series of fantasy novels by David Eddings. Don't you all think it makes more sense that a TREE nymph would be holding a leaf than a snake?

What can I say - I've always been a bit fascinated with dryads .. and this is not the first pic with redhaired one in this gallery - but it's the first and therefor hopefully the best ;) Hope you like it .
I believe the person is saying there are more than that one.
and we who saw your first one knows it.
as it stands, you SAID YOU NEVER CROPPED IT ANY,
THEN YOU SAID YOU TRIMMED IT TO FIT.
EITEHR WAY, YOU LIED.
That is the oreiginal picture and there was never a snake in it. I opened her profile way back in April or March when I first saw it, thinking the dryad was holding a snake (I like snakes) but I could tell by the lines on the green thing that it was a leaf. But then, I like dryads and I am familiar with the name Ce'Nedra, so I knew WHY the girl in the picture was holding a leaf and I knew that it made WAY more sense than her holding a snake. I don't know where this all started and I don't know why you are all insisting there was a snake. There was NEVER a snake in that picture.

Sorry, I really dislike that word. It's rude and most likely not the meaning of what you think of the Pope. I'm sure you could get your point across using proper English instead of crude slang. Your opinion matters, but your words shouldn't offend. jmho
And no, I'm a married mom with two teenagers. I chose this name when I read in my local paper about a teen in my area who died. I wanted the parents to know that I was with them in their pain and "there but for the grace of God go I" - no better or worse.
It doesn't matter, even if I worded my posts to suit you, those words would still offend a lot of people. I'm not here to meet with your approval, I'm not here to brighten your day. If you find what I have to say too provocative, maybe you should stick to "the suite life of Zack and Cody" threads. The catholic church is responsible for the wholesale spread of disease (HIV/AIDS), overpopulation, they support illegal immigration of Mexicans to our country to advance their insatiable lust for power and greed, they sit on a massive, almost inconceivable amount of treasure and money while portions of the world are starving yet point the finger of responsibility at the U.S. Sorry, but that SUX! I call it as it is.
You show your support for a family's loss by using a certain name on an opinion forum? Boy, that family must really be comforted by your thoughtfulness. It's much more supportive than donating time or money to help the family. I'm sure you're very proud of yourself. Don't break your arm patting yourself on the back.

Satan also tried to tempt Christ in the wilderness as you try to tempt others on this thread. Sometimes you come across as truthfull, similar to how the serpent tempted Adam and Eve by going against God's command of them eating the orbidden fruit. He tempts you now into thinking you may be telling truth by calling other's liars when all your doing is violating yourself. Not an insult, only trying to help you see yourself. I know who I'm without denial. There I go, going against my own beliefs, da_n you satan.
~~~~~~~~~~
Yes Satan tried to tempt Christ...
If you will note....Jesus answer to the devil was something that you Roman Catholics are not able to give, because you thumb you noses at the "Sola Scriptura'
JESUS SAID ****'IT IS WRITTEN"..
.He responded with the Word of God ("Sola Scriptura") from the Old testament
The Roman Catholic Church....denies the power of the Word that were Given in the Scriptures.
They have replaced it with their own fables
You act as if you know more than "God the Son" knows.
The written (quoted word of Jesus) word powerful enough to drive Satan away,....
The Roman Catholic Church is foolish enough to deny this weapon of Spiritual warfare against satan, and He has a field day in your pagan religion..
Mat 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
Mat 4:2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
Mat 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
Mat 4:4 But he answered and said,****It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Mat 4:5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
Mat 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down:**** for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Mat 4:7 Jesus said unto him,****It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
Mat 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
Mat 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
Mat 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan:****for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Mat 4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
When satan tempts you, if he ever does.......he knows that you will not use the weapon that Jesus used....You are defenceless against him.
Is that not the reason that what you believe has no foundational basis in the Old testament?
I understand that you are going by what you understand.
You seem to be very sincere yet you are in error.
However, this is how gentiles have been deceived.
False teachers who are antisemitic have been deceving gentiles for thousands of years with false info in regards to the Tanakh, Torah, etc.
Israel was/is always the apple of G-d's eye. Israel belongs to G-d.....an eternal covenant with Hashem.
The zera' Yisrael (physical descendants of Israel) will continue to be loved by G-d for all time .
Sad to say many gentiles adhere to this untrue notion of replacement theology thinking that they (gentiles) somehow have replaced Israel. This is false doctrine.
Heck, white nationalist groups do the same thing with the doctrine of good/evil Jew at Mt. Sinai and their version of the so called chosen race.
Even the NEW covenant is with the House of Israel AND Judah.
Kol-Yisrael yivashea is simply the known fact that ALL of Israel will be saved.
Why does the Catholic Church discourage Bible reading when, according to the Apostle, "All scripture, inspired of God, is profitable to teach...[and] to instruct in justice"?(2 Tim. 3:16).
If the Catholic Church discourages Bible reading,
the Pope, the thousands of Catholic Bishops, and
the many billions of Catholic lay people, are not
aware of it. For the Popes have issued pastoral
letters to the whole Church, called encyclicals,
on the edifying effects of Bible reading. The
Catholic Bible far outsells all other Christian
Bibles worldwide. In fact, it has always been
thus. The very first Christian Bible was
produced by the Catholic Church – compiled by
Catholic scholars of the 2nd and 3rd century and
approved for general Christian use by the
Catholic Councils of Hippo (393) and Carthage
(397). The very first printed Bible was
produced under the auspices of the Catholic
Church – printed by the Catholic inventor of the
printing press, Johannes Gutenberg. And the
very first Bible with chapters and numbered
verses was produced by the Catholic Church – the
work of Stephen Langton, Cardinal Archbishop of
Canterbury.
