Right of way Laws

I am writing to find out how I can go about making a law..?

I live on a private road in NH ( Charlestown) and over the 8 years I have owned this I have major trouble with my neighbors running a 4 wheeler and digging up the road. AS I have found out its a major problem here in NH and I want to make it so When you have private road but have to give a right away they can ONLY pass on this road with a reg car no ATVs



Its now to the point where the cops have been called so many times and they just tell me there is nothing I can do ..



I own this road why do I have to allow them to run and race 4 wheelers on it..?





So far they have killed my dog, there dog ate 2 $400 dollar pools , they have destroyed so much of the road I have large Rock's being pulled up and this is yet another problem ( as this is a dirt road) there dogs come down and get into my dumpster

THEY PAID NOTHING the Charlesotwn PD did NOTHING O wait after 8 hours they stopped at my house by then I had burried my dog. that was killed ON MY LAWN by them.

HMM needing a leash law also ! LOL


SO I need major help here and will do whatever I need to





Help me get started on how I can protect my land and yet still give them a right of way.



How about blocking the road and Allowing them to build there own road on my land that will get them out and in to there home..?





I am lost and SO angry that not one person is hearing me here ..the PD does NOTHING



I also watch disabled people here in my home most nights I am so scared that when they are outside the neighbors will hit them as they are driving so fast they will never be able to stop.



Yet the law does nothing for me to protect me or my clients I watch.



Are we going to wait till someone gets killed to start looking into a law to fix this..?

Well friend, you're pretty much screwed! I had the same problem where I live. Even if it's a private road, as long as other people live on it there is a thing called an "easement", that means they have the legal right to access their property on that road. Unless you want to walk up and down the road with a shotgun or 357 Magnum there's nothing you can do. But if you have speed limit signs posted and someone gets hurt, then you can take legal action. But it has to be proven.

LOL We have even sprayed them with a hose when riding by they dont give up !

What is up with rude neighbors? I just put in a brand new privacy fence, and the neighbors who bought the pit of a house next door and digging up their yard and piling the dirt, you guessed, right against my new 6 ft privacy fence! Grrr! I shouldn't be surprised, they just replaced their fence with about 40 old skis, how quaint! BLECK!!!!!!!!!!

Roofing tacks get my vote. Lets see them prove who put them there. I would bet if one of the stupid PD officers lived on the road, the problem would stop. I so hate double standards. Talk to your city councilman, or county commissioner, maybe that will help. Good Luck!!!
