This will save stockholders' brokerage fees because they can sell both stocks at once.

A bubble company trying to create a bigger Bubble company on Wall Street. Sorry, the real worth of GM has finally been exposed. We are all now seeing how much they are really worth, and how much they over-inflated their stock. They're in a corner, and looking for any way out. Chrysler has more money. Chrysler should be calling the shots, not GM.

I may be wrong, but with Chrysler's past links to Dodge and Plymouth vehicles, I probably wouldn't buy the Chrysler, just because Dodge and Plymouth,s are rather crappy cars.

Chrysler makes some of the neatest looking new vehicles on the road. Great designing.

But a great looking car that can't leave the driveway or repair shop because of this or that or recalls.......It would have to be one killer deal for me to go into debt on one.

Now, link that with GM's share of problems, even if they make decent stuff (which I think so),

That's a lot of stitching and darning to do for cars and trucks that are stuck around 20 to 40 thousand dollars, just to turn around and put expensive gas in, too.

Tough to be in the any car business about now.

Not really. Chrysler is a private company now. They don't have stock.
