Incorrect.

You're confusing your dishonesty religion with history.

IF Jesus died on a Roman cross, he died for his own sins.

Jesus died in order to redeem man from sin and to break the claim of Satan.
Jesus entered into the realms of the departed with NO sin, therefore death could not hold him. the old law (the wages of sin is death) had to effect on Christ. So death had to let Him go.
Through His sacrifical death, mankind can now be free from sin, freedom to worship God.
Through His resurrection life, He laid down a pathway back to the Father.

Xcellent question.

Roman crucifixion was a specific execution for very specific offenses against very specific people.

There were basically two specific reasons.

What would those two be?

How's that wrath of God thing coming along, by the way?

I saw the Wrath of Kahn, but this wrath of your deity appears to be just as imaginary as his promises.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Capricorn

Mercury retrograde in your sign will cause some friction between you and other people during coming weeks. Matters that have been bubbling away in the background will come to the boil, forcing you to do something about them. Try not to overreact, nor to create a crisis out of something that's really very minor. You should also keep a strong sense of fair play and pay attention to every little detail.
