And they laugh with me.......little do they know It's almost like they draw a bunch of letters and put em together. I blame the stupid parents.lol Children raising children with my money in mind.(tax-dollars) Take my name for instance.......

I just got back from a trip to Africa and I ran into no one with a name like Shaniqua or LaQuanda, etc. The made up names here in the US appear to be a Black-American phenomenon.

Well, given the limited vocabulary of most "African Americans" is it any wonder why they would choose some of their names? Honestly, though Im in favor of the blacks using their own names because it makes it easier to throw away certain applications without even starting the interview process.

I have similar story as the Urine one. A nurse that was takinG care of my wife pregnant told us that a lady (she didn't say she was black.. but we knew) when the nurse showed her the placenta on the ultrsound, she said "What did you say?" the nurse said "placenta". The black lady was "Hmmm, I love that name! I'm gonna name my baby that". The nurse gently tried to talk her out of it but couldn't. She was dead set on naming her baby girl "Placenta". TRUE STORY. Don't give me this BS that it's "Cultural". The bottom line is these are incredibly stupid names that are words that flat out should not be human names. Mosyt of the time they are completely made up and have no meaning whatsoever like Shaniqua or when hey put a La a De or Ja in front of a normal name. It very simply just shows the stupidity of the parent which hurts the kid in the long run. It's basically putting a stamp of stupidity and ghetto trash on the kid. These names also further segregate blacks from everyone else. Blacks are the only ones who do this crap out of all the races people in the USA.

A woman who worked as a nurse in Philadelphia in the '60s said that a Black woman named her daughter Placenta - same story. She liked the sound of the name.

I had two girls in the same high school class named "Champagne". You can name kids whatever you want. The way this world is though,I think that what you name your child could effect them in their adult life. Professional settings,I have not seen a doctor or lawyer named "Champagne". Not being racist at all here. Honestly though, come on. Some names that I have heard are really far fetched. White folks too,but more so from black folks. I would not do hat to my child. My fiance is Indian and we have talked about our potential childrens names. Giovanni after my father (modern day John) or a girl,Gianna. They will have an Indian middle name that has meaning to her mother and father. Its okay to be creative, but you got to have limits.

When picking names for children, it is important that one consider the way the initials will look. Children are mean, and will find any excuse to bully.
So...
Laura Irene Christiansen might SEEM like a good name for a child, but spell out the initials....
And LIC is gonna spark a ton of bad nicknames.

the amazing one. Really? most of us don't have college degrees? Judging by the way you spell you don't either. Those names are from your roots in Africa? You're so full of shit. One most blacks have never been to Africa. Second A lot, not all, but many blacks when asked about famous influential black people ie Harriet tumbman, Emma till, have no idea who they are and you expect me to believe they are in touch with their roots that go even father back? stfu. Your ignorance is what gives people black white yellow as a species a bad name.
