1 What about the issues? John McCain actually said in last night's debate, "You have ads attacking my health care plan." Its a policy based attack. Fair game. McCain ads have nothing to do with policy. Just trying to muddy the water for ignorant voters who don't do their research. When he does attack on policy, he distorts and misrepresents Obama's position so bad it can only be considered lying. Such a shame. It's kinda like watching Michael Jordan get crossed by Iverson. |

2 OHgof6, I totally agree that the only folks who'll get riled up by Wright references are the types who are already with McCain & wouldn't vote Obama to save their life. Independents & undecideds will just get turned off by negative ads using Wright. It's just not good for our country to dwell on the guy. I'm an independent that's solidly with Obama & I'll admit, I was repulsed to see that old tape of him spewing hate. If that came out right before the election, it could have cost Obama a victory. The Clinton's did Obama a favor by going for the jugular with it, MONTHS AGO. To independents, who are the only ones that matter at this point, it's lost its effect because Obama has distanced himself & handled the issue appropriately. The ones who want to dwell on it are the scary Tim McVeigh types & I'm glad McCain has the integrity to back off from riling up the nuts on the Right. |
