Agreed on all of your replies, and I saw Bob perform three times, once for free, and he sucked two out of three...one time he was terrific was in 1988 with GE Smith of the SNL band. THAT night was good, but I'd never pay to see that guy again.
Very interesting.

Hey FundieSmacker, here's a good driving song for you, a remix of a great Elvis song. I've listened to this one many times driving.

Yep! Listening to it as I type. Nice! Thanks!

Here's another one from my early twenties...Root Boy Slim and the Sex Change doing their best tune in my opinion, "Boogie Til You Puke":

A classic indeed...LOLOLOL

#1 personal favorite:Ramblin' Man by the Allman Brothers.
In addition to the poll options, other favorites include:
Ain't Goin' Down till the Sun Comes Up by Garth Brooks
Let's Go by The Cars
An unconventional choice, but Fat-Bottomed Girls by Queen always makes me crank the volume and hit the gas a little harder.
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
Paradise by the Dashboard Light by Meatloaf
I second Bohemian Rhapsody!

Depends how you feel that day u r driving.

1)Techno if you are DUI or high out of your mind driving.

2) Soft Rock , Reggae or Jazz if you are mellow.

Those are some good selections. Phil would bring a good mood while on the interstate at night.

But the Blues would have to be at day 'cause its too slow for nite driving's hypnotic spell of broken white lines.

It depends on the style of "driving". There are long road trips, just plain cruisin' Gratiot, or Driving home on a Friday night after work.

"Bad Habit" - Offspring

"Alive and Kickin" - Mr. Big

"Freeway of Love" - Aretha Franklin

"Life is a Highway" - Tom Cochrane

"Everyday is a Winding Road" - Sheryl Crow

"Come On and Take a Free Ride" - Jefferson Airplane

"Traffic Jam" - James Taylor

"Mexican Radio" - Wall of Voodoo

"Hotel California" - Eagles

"She's a Beauty" - The Tubes

"Panama" - Van Halen

"Little Red Corvette" - Prince

"Jaguar" - The Who

"Mustang Sally" - Wilson Pickett

"Black Sunshine" - White Zombie

"Red Barchetta" - Rush

"My Hooptie" - Sir Mix-A-Lot

"Low Rider" - War

"Pink Cadillac" - Bruce Springsteen

The one about the 413.

Drive safely, my fine finned friend!! I hope you have a ton of fun -

I'll find some more good stuff for you to find when you get back - my girl gave me a great song last night, from a local band who just made it onto VH1's hit list.
