6 years is a long time, but is it really that simple to just drop in on a bunch of armed rebels and rescue hostages without anyone getting hurt? In this case it was, but by pure luck and clever trick that wouldn't work twice. The Columbian government does deserve praise for the rescue regardless because it did happen and lives were saved. End of story.
